So I'm thinking of going Templar for a RP perspective and I was wondering if you can actually get the Templar armor in the game like you could in DA:O Also, I know that Berserker and Reaver essentially offer a bigger damage output, but has anyone found the Templar specialization useful?

Templar = Silence
Silence -> bosses are useless

The only templar armor I found was in the last mission, so I don't think you can get templar armor before that and the stats on it aren't really special either

Meredith gives you a templar armor which is worthless IMO at the beggining of act 3.

Templar is one of those ones where you really want to pour the hate on assassins and mages. It's relatively situational, so it's not like you're going to find yourself running to your Templar abilities often, but Cleanse and Silence are good skills. Holy Smite is nothing like was before, which is unfortunate (it's not a place-able AoE like it was in DA:O), but the end passive +50% magic resistance is where it's at if you want to run Templar.
You can always still stick one point into Reaver for Blood Frenzy as a "safety valve," it's the best 1pt wonder in a Warrior's arsenal.
