So I was courting both Merrill and Isabella. I had sex  with Isabella, but then later got Merril to move in with me, had sex with her, and said we were "together." After that, I went to the Hanged Man and told Isabella even though I was with Merrill, I still loved her. Before the last fight, you have to talk to all the companions. I talked to Isabella before Merrill, and it popped the romance complete achievement. I then talked to Merrill and we both said we loved each other. Is this supposed to go that way? I had far more interaction with Merrill then I did with Isabella, who I basically just had sex with, while I'm living with Merrill and in a commited relationship.

I think the real thing you should be upset about with that situation is the lack of a threesome option!

Which is slightly sad since you CAN have a threesome with Isabela and Zevran =) And Merrill's dialogue with Isabela makes it very clear that she would at least want to try it.
