Outside of blood magic abilities, are there any ways to heal yourself while sustaining blood magic?

Oh and, ****, I just fell in love with dispel magic. I didn't realize it would get rid of barrier, lol.

Direct healing spells and potions will not work, passive stuff will. So if say your using anders and he has his healing aura thing up that will add to your "natural" healing (if your within range of it). Also equipment with +health regen works. However if you are going blood mage even if it means losing a ring slot with decent stats I recommend getting rings that have the each point of health provides 1 additional mana benifit. With 2 items like that and the blood magic upgrade thats 5 mana per point of health conversion so a 60 mana spell is only sucking 12 health instead of 20 health without the items. Then of course a 20 mana spell would only be sucking 4 health instead of say 7. Then if your really desperate for a heal in a battle turn off blood magic and pop a potion.
It's also possible to get a staff with the additional mana per health ability and I think a hat so that would be a 7 to 1 ratio. Or 60 mana spell only taking about 9 health and a 30 mana only taking 4 or 5 health.

So that pretty much how I thought it works, thanks for the clarification :-).
And yeah, its pretty sick. I think if I get high enough level (I really want to max out Spirit and Blood, not sure where the rest will go) I will get some sustains and stay primarily in blood.

Hmm...another question. Will Death Siphon work with Grave Robber? I don't recall if the corpses are destroyed. Although I guess when upgraded, corpses don't matter much for Grave Robber.
Edit: I mean, will my sustained Death Siphon eat all of my corpses before I get a chance to use Grave Robber?

Really? It dispels the barrier that enemy mages use?

And no, Death Siphon does not heal you if you have it active with Blood Magic on. Nothing heals you period except the skills in the BM tree.

Yeah, I know, right? I cast it to get rid of a buff from a desire demon, and a mage beside her immediately came out of barrier. Either I got lucky, or it removes Barrier. If I run into another mage, Ill let you know if it was perfect timing or not.
Edit: Ah..I guess I misunderstood what hte previous guy said about passives. Although, in hindsight, Death Siphon works a bit differently than a regular passive.

Yeah...Dispel Magic removes Barrier. It makes sense really, I just never thought of using it for that purpose. Its actually quite nice...I'm glad I decided to grab it instead of Death Siphon.
