Some of it doesn't need to be in, but there are some things in ME2 that are just broken and need fixed.

You're quick to post that picture, but I'm on part 4 and quite a few of his ideas are good. Some people say that he doesn't know what he's talking about or a lot of this wouldn't fit in the game, but that's bull.

Your right, some of this is really good and he is reasoning well. Im find myself nodding a lot to his commentry. But theres still lots of opinion in there which I dont agree with and some of it doesnt even need to be there. I do respect smud, hes doing alot and addressing some really significant points. But things he dislikes doesnt mean they are inherently broken and need to be changed.
Still a really good series so far. Im just about to watch part three btw.

And for the gameplay.
Not possible with today's technology nor I believe we will have that kind of stuff in just 1 game and continue it another for at least 1 or 2 decades.
But very nice idea and if they could have done some stuff he said in ME2.
While half of the stuff can be in ME3.
Now I have to watch last 2 parts.
It's about the plot and I don't think I'll agree much unlike in previous 5 parts.
But I might get surprised, but also not.

First most of the stuff does happen in ME2 only little different while having EVERYTHING directly connected to Reaper threat is just unbelievable and unrealistic.
And being a hero is a social reason? What?!
Ever heard of morale?!
And Shepard being a last Prothein is stupid and Prothein vision in ME1 play small role. Protheins failed like every other species and there's nothing special about them but that they menage to left a message about Reapers.

Well, he did talk about ME1 in detail a few months back, and that's technically a different game. I think it's possible he does Origins or DA2 eventually, but I kind of doubt it.TMA LIVE wrote...
I was kind of hoping he'd try talking about a different game at this point. Like Origins.

OK I have to say that retcons he made about Miranda, Legion and Shepard last living Prothein is just stupid.

Considering that Smudboy requires everything to be fully explained or its a plot hole, the complexity of his plot probably requires 4x as much dialogue.
The other part of this is that 1/2 the current ME2 audience gets confused about the current mechanics surrounding everything from the suicide mission to the paragon/renegade system. His system about having to complete x, y, z missions to open up a, b, and c and having to crush 4 Ymir mechs with your biotics for Miranda to open up with you or fight x training session for y to occur would probably just just have 3/4 of players wonder what the hell was happening.
Not to mention, I really dislike his plot suggestions. Control colllars? Clones? Recruiting Okeer right after he slaughters Quarian slaves? Bleh. I like Zulu's conspiracy theories better. Heck, one earlier poster gave a much better suggestion regarding Garrus than his Samara control collar suggestion.

And in entire part he didn't said anything about Collector General being somehow not to much indoctrinated like other Collector drones.

Really?
Didn't know.
Also he got perma-banned for swearing and insults.

Lol. Actually it was me who gave Smudboy the idea that O'Keer should have Quarian slaves. [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/tongue.png[/smilie]

Quite a good watch, like a few other people said it'd be difficult to fit all that into one game, but it'd be alot better with those fixes, of course then the game would require you to actually think, which would turn off many of the people on this forum.

Okeer having Quarian slaves actually sounds interesting, and an improvement giving how little slavery we actually saw or encountered in the Terminus, which was always a big place of slavery by the narrative. The only slavery we do see is by the Asari.
