A bit embarrased...but I'll admit I had a few tears at the end...
the end writing was just that good...
So who cried at the end?

i was suprised that i didn't feel to much come the end. the end of ME i cried like a baby and DA is of course friggin awesome but i think the problem is that, while having a really dark game is awesome and everything we've been waiting for in a rpg for decades, it becomes over saturated with bad **** going down that i tended to stop feeling anything so there stopped being any emotional impact.
This certainly isn't a complaint merely an observation, i'm still very happy with the game and acknowledge that this issue is subjective and any emotional impact the game has would veriy from indervidual.

Not that it matters to me honestly but a post with the title you gave it shold be on a spoilers forum, no kidding.

No.
I'm all for keeping spoilers out...but their comes a point where the anti-spoiler zealots need to get a life.

Nah this game didn't do it for me, i must admit though the ending to NWN2 is pretty emotional, youtube it if you've never seen it.

Hell, I felt a little choked up during the human warrior opening story. I felt really slammed after an early tower event.

The end writing was lame! They could put a CGI movie for the very end of the game or at least some voice over. But no, it was plane text.
Pf!

What was there to cry about? No one, except the "villain" died, as a hero i might add, everyone else lived happily ever after.
"Ever after" might be quite short though, since the epilogue didn't mention my character succumbing to the taint. Or maybe Avernus came up with something? Onlytime sequels or DLCs will tell

From the various posts similar to this one I'm guessing most people must have bad endings. My ending was actually pretty happy.

I thought it was great, I loved it.
my first thought was Fallout 1/2 style ending sweet.
This game truely tried to be old school RPG.

LMAO ... same here!
Actually, I'm a 45yrs old with my eyes filled with tears... just finished the game after 150 hours play and the "happy"
ending, I guess, but I'll try different ones too ... (rebuild char at 50th to a better char dev)... and it is the first time since a particular moment in Baldur's Gate 2 that acomputer game does that for me... Great job Bioware!!!
My frigid biatch wife doesn't understand how that is possible but at least she doesn't bother me for spending endless hours in front of my puter... and the witch loves me after all! =)
