No. Children ruin things. Adding them would detract from the world they've made so far.

Seriously Bioware, don't put them in. It'll suck so hard.

Co-sign. I didn't even notice the lack of children, and it will not bother me one bit. Enough disc space is wasted on pointless things like "krogan sushi" anyway.

Do children add anything to the setting? Personally, I don't miss them.

I've just noticed today that there are no children in Mass Effect. I was thinking about ES: Oblivion and the fact that the only bad thing i can say about that game is that the realisim was thrown off by the fact that there were no children. Then i thought about my beloved ME and the fact that i have yet to see a baby Hanar. Plz developers for the sake of "realism" in a space opera add little children running around the citadel or something. I wouldnt even mind saving a group of kids from a buring building or something.

Oh, there are children. However, like most 1980's Sci-Fi thriller flicks (which the ME universe is based on) they're played by clean-shaven actors in their 20's. It's just hard to tell because everyone wears jumpsuits in the future, and not tutus or leather jackets like in "The Breakfast Club".

I noticed that, where are the short, tall, thin, fat, lankey people at i doubt that every person in the galaxy is normal height, and every one is as  ripped as shepard who is  a trained solider

Well... Yeah. Didn't you read the codex? They play with the genes of most children before they're born, and I imagine most people wouldn't want their children to be short and overweight.

No children please.

Seriously in games they're either extremely annoying/creepy and or exceptionally incapable/stupid. Plus they usually don't add anything to the game really other then believability of age progession. And in other cases they're way too smart and are essentially adults anyways. Kids should stay in kid games and if they do show up in something like Mass Effect their presence should be very minimal. Really it's best if they remain solely in the background. I mean if you're a kid you're probably going to keep your mouth shut if you see armed soldiers running around, unless it's an emergency and you need help.

Look to Kotor if you want to see why children detract from the game-there's no interesting child characters, they're all annoying, and their resources could've been put to better use.

You JUST noticed there are no kids in ME. Lol 99% of games don't have children and the 1% of games that do are either, kid games/you play as a kid/you can't do anything within a 10 foot radius of a child npc (The only game that I can think of right now that might be an exception is Heavy Rain)

The Legend of Zelda series AND Earthbound series would like to have a word with you.

Link is THE ONLY kid worth remembering in all of gamedom.

Also, in megaton, you can kill kids in their beds at night. Its dark, I know, but I decided to murder everyone before nuking it. It seemed more humane.

It would be nice to see child models just to see what different species look like when they're young but I feel that has its place in a Bioware released Encyclopaedia: read Codex, rather then ingame.

Some of the places Shepard visits (Omega, the Illium Trading Floor, Chora's Den etc) would'nt really have any children about. Wait a second, this opens up a whole new can of worms. Does the Citadel provide educational facilities or do parents homeschool?

I just sneak up and reverse-pickpocket Princess a nuka grenade. Should stop her complaining.

There's a dead one in Mordin's loyalty mission and when you're going to speak with the shaman, right across from him theres a krogan you can talk to.  The dialogue is a few sentences and within it, the krogan reveals her gender.

Go back to Tuchanka in your game.  Go to the Shaman, turn directly around and there should be two krogan DIRECTLY across from the Shaman.  It's not the ambassador.  The its not a conversation with the convo tree pops up.  You simply press "A" or "X" (if you have PS3) and keep pressing until you see something about the "female envoy..." something to that effect

That is not a female krogan.  He is Clan Urdnot's liason with the female clan.  I'm standing right next to him in-game, and he says nothing of the sort that indicates he's actually a she.

Here are his quotes.

"I may be young, but I relay the wishes of the females.  That's important."

"I don't care who you are.  The female clans don't see anyone.  Ever."

"Speaking for the females is an honor, even if it delays my Rite of Passage.  Say otherwise, and I'll kill you."
