As in the stickies at the top of the page and more importantly the 'Featured Projects' on the front page of the forums.  It is obvious that BioWare is too busy with other things to keep these updated.  We need to get one or more of our community members that has been good at promoting content to be able to have full access to make changes and updates to these areas.

Anyone agree with this?

Yes! But who can do this? and more importantly how?

Edit: It would be really wonderful if we could finally have an updated version and revive the "Featured Projects" section especially because of the recent changes to the home screen, making them even more apparent,  as well as the fact that there has been so much community content created since that time. Those projects are outdated, and it would be wonderful if the new mods could get a bit more public exposure and attention overal.
There is so much out there, and I'm sure players would love to know of the playable content available to them.

Also, It would be nice to see the projects section broken out by game. Just a thought.

I agree 100%. Hopefully, once things settle down with DA2, assuming they aren't being pushed to do DA3, they can give us modders a little support...

Absolutely agree with the OP.

I don't have a problem with Bioware putting effort into other priorities, but they could usefully empower the modding community to self-manage our aspects of the site, rather than let it die.

Given the high signal-to-noise ratio in the toolset forum and on the wiki, I would certainly be prepared to trust the builder community to manage more content.

Much could be done on a self-service basis. Pragmatically, certain tasks (e.g. "featured mods") call for accountable stewardship. I say "accountable" because I wouldn't want to see this site being run by an elite.

Now is the time. I hope that Bioware responds favourably to this, but if that doesn't happen soon, we need to have a very different discussion about what we, the community, can do under our own steam.

Any news about this? I don't know if you'd be interested Beerfish, to moderate only the toolset forums and updating the "Featured Projects" section, but personally, given your previous experience, I'd say you're the right fellow for that role. I have the feeling you won't be interested, but you'd do us a big favor if you are up for it, I can't think of a better choice (from the community and Bioware's side).
