Has anyone found any interesting effects from importing save games? Aside from idle banter, there are a few I've noticed based on differences between the two saves I imported:
Brecillian Forest:
Woman collecting ingredients to help werewolves on Sundermount (Sided with Witherfang)
vs.
Dalish hunting fomer werewolf (Sided with Zathrian)
Orzammar:
Outcast Harrowmont fleeing Kirkwall (Sided with Bhelen)
vs.
??? (Sided with Harrowmont)
Warden's Keep DLC:
Potion to raise attributes on Wounded Coast (Allowed Avernus to live)
vs.
??? (Killed Avernus)
The Warden's Keep one kinda floors me... A very minor decision from A DLC pack that directly benefits Hawke...

Warden's Keep DLC: If you killed Avernus and let Sophia go, you meet her in the act 1 at the Wounded Coast.

your list isn't quite correct as far as the Brecilian Forrest goes. Siding with Zathrian means killing Witherfang, siding with Witherfang means ending the curse. There was a third Option to kill the elves.
The Dalish hunting the former Werewolf is the result of the Warden siding with Witherfang.
i don't think it's connected to importing a particular save, but rather completing the game, in Lowtown there is a nice reference to finding Andrastes Ashes, cracks me up every time

I found Alistair in The Hanged Man, since I spared Loghain's life (he's only there up to Part 2).
A lot of the import I think might also be in the dialogue when you talk to people too, like I killed the werewolves in my game and it was easier for me to persuade the female dalish to let that human go (than if you healed the werewolves).

Right right right! I always forget about the option to kill the werewolves... Seemed so personally unappealing... This is why I fail at metagaming. Lol.Tleining wrote...

I haven't seen an instance of the Mage origin or the completion of "Broken Circle" having a gameplay effect. Except when Anders keeps bringing up that the Hero of Ferelden was a mage...

your mother mentions the warden being your cousin
edit: this is if you played as the human magi origin
