  What should i do in Danarius Manor in such a stupid position?  I met certain shades in the area, however
can not pick the lock of the chest-standard next to magisters locked door cos cunning is insufficent. 
So, what am i supposed to do now?

should rage demon be the right one? i loaded my last save from where just after killing first shades.
Then, rage demon changed the flow of the battle. My two companions and me are dead except
Fenris. However, i couldn't manage to open the chest i told you above.

I loaded again yet again can not achieve it to open.

The rage demon in the last chamber drops the key however his corpse frequently despawns to early. I had the same problem the first time, can't do anything as opposed to reload and hope it you get to loot it.

I have re loaded 15 times now and the key is not dropping and i am a rouge and able to open all the chests. Unable to leave the house with it locking you in so WTF DO I DO NOW BIOWARE?

The shade or demon who drops it is in the very last room you enter, on the first floor. It's a little confusing trying to make sure you've been in all the rooms, so just make sure you've checked every door and gone through all the ones that will open.

download daosavegame editor, then edit your cunnning and enter the door without the key.
