So when are there going to be fixes made for the ps3 and xbox 360? such as random freezes and the respec potion etc...sorry if i sound like a ass asking this question in the pc only update. But it only seems reasonable since these issues interfere with your gameplay especially if u have autosave off.

the console fixes will come a bit after the PC version, since they have to go through the platform owner's approval system. We'll have a better idea when the PC patch is out.

I'm putting this game aside for now. DA2 was an instabuy for me after DAO. DA3 will not be. Sure, I think they made some design mistakes in DA2 but I think the game as a whole is good.... or would have been, if it had been properly QA'ed. It was not. Please do hurry these patches. My game is essentially unplayable due to bugs (stupid Isabela). I'd like to actually enjoy what I paid for.

I hope that they also fix the graphics issues on the console versions as well, especially the PS3 version because it is extremely choppy.  It really takes away from the enjoyment of a relatively decent game.

Well personaly I think if EA doesnt interfere to much and bioware remembers just how successful Neverwinter was they might not only fix the bugs but improve the overall game play. What i really hate if the fact that when you go to save they dont tell you if you are still logged into the server. I hate exiting the game only for the log in prompt to p#*s me off and have to log back in the go back in game to save progress so that it MAY update my account.
But like all things it never hurts to dream that they may remember what made them a big name...

One thing that really frustrated me was the fact that after I finished the game there was no "new game+" so that I could not start the story over with everything that I aquired in my first playthrough.  I also would like to know DA2 looks like a PS2 game on the PS3 console when the Xbox 360 version looks almost as good as the PC version?

I really couldn't tell you but as for myself i have the texture pack installed and the 1.1 patch and unlike a lot of these people I havent had any problems

For me i think i'll play through DA:O/A and wait for the fixes in DA2 its all gone a bit pete tong in my last few play throughs and the 1.01 patch didn't help at all for me only brought more problems. Would have been a really good game if tested and fixed before being made retail but when theres so many texture issuse like Isabella's cloths Merrill's second outfit around the neck and plot bugs makes me think it was rushed out and not tested at any length. So here's hoping they take some time with the patches but not too long.

If you do it nice first time you wont have to do it twice.

Putting the game aside now. One of the buggiest game ive ever played. The game it runs pretty well, not a single crash so far.
But combats and questing... seems like severe lack of testing before the release.  Nowadays everyone has a internet connection, but  thats no excuse for too early release. I feel like the early buyers are doing the actual testing

Yeah maybe Bio should be paying us to test there games if they are releasing them without proper testing wouldn't mind being a tester god knows i have enough free time

It runs smoothly on my GTX 460 (which has 768Mb VRAM) on Very High settings at 1280x1024 with everything but diffusion depth of field selected, with 2x AA and 16x anistropic filtering. Should be OK on yours I'd think, but if the hires textures cause you problems you can deselect them from the graphics menu (checkbox appears on installation).

The gist of it(from what I can get out of Google) is that this fellow is complaining about Bioware, saying he's better, and threatening them. And apparently calling us all incompetent.

I need a real patch to fix my game. The final boss won't die so I can't beat it. Not even "cheating" with console commands helps.

 Yes,  your not alone. I have been getting ALOT more lag and temporary graphic freezes since I installed the patch.
