I can see a problem with single use serial code 1 if u have more than 1 pc u can not put it on both 2 if u need to reinstall your Dragon Age2 it will not validate us u have dun so already or if u get a new pc/laptop it will not validate. Even if u use the right email address or password.

When you see a post like this, don't feed the spamtroll.  Just click on the REPORT button instead of the QUOTE button, and a mod has a much better chance of seeing it and taking action.

the improvements for single core add memory leaks and stuttering to quad core - intel core 870 lga 1156 here.

It would have been a good idea and decent to release
the game fixes and the single core patch as 2 separate
patches.

I (stupidly?) listened to suggestions to patch my DA2 to 1.01 in the DX11 thread that's so "popular" right now. I've started getting random "problems" now that I didn't have before...great...so I took a barely-working, hacked-around version of a game that was finally, after many hours of aggravation, working decently and just made it worse?!

Guess I'll be reinstalling DA2, back to it's original (best) working version again...you know, DAO has a lot of appeal right now. I hear there are some decent add-on fan-made quests for it. Any suggestions? I'm tired of messing with DA2; it has worn me down.

Looking around is, well, so time-consuming. Better to ask those in-the-know and get the best right at the start instead of getting poor results.

Will the new patch fix the Merrill quest bug and the incorrect setting of the "Architect killed" flag in the "Finding Nathaniel" quest?

I'm still getting this bug as well. I've found that not allowing the game to automatically connect to the Internet prevents it from happenning, though.

Thanks Helloween7 will give it a try as it's bloody annoying when you log on or try to play the game and it keeps popping up.
I though the patch was supposed to fix this though?

I hope it will fix most of the quest & companion bugs as they are very annoying. If they don't fix the quest & companion bugs the patch would be senseless IMO.
