Merrill help how should I build her if I'm making her a blood mage

my thoughts exactly.. i put a decent amount of consitution on her.. but im tryin to think of what would be the best attribute distribution.. like 1-1 magic/constitution to a point? and what point should i stop building her HP (blood magic mana) pool?

not really sure how to go attributeswise

2 const for ever magic, end game she had 55ish magic and 35 const. (Once you get her magic up to a decent point).

Get her all the items that add extra "mana" per hp used (all the bloodmage items) and she'll have an endless pool of mana almost and won't get herself killed by using spells.

I used her with that build as a controller and she could cast all of her control spells (Entroy mostly) and not be down more than 1/4 health.

Throughout the game there are several items that will increase her blood mage potency -- so that 1 pt of health can cost roughly 4-5 points of mana. That means that towards the end of the game each spell would cost a very little amount of health.

So IMO .. I would maybe do a 1:1 ratio until Act 3 and then just dump everything into Magic. All the shops around the world seem to have these items I speak of.

I build Merrill as a normal mage until level 15-17ish, then I respec her into nothing but magic/con with a slight preference toward magic once I have enough ability points to get blood of the first and a fully upgrades wrath of elvenhan.
