Umm I have to disagree with you on Hawke being the new central figure in the DA world. It has been said many times by BioWare(Mike Laidlaw) that DA is about the WORLD and not characters. Meaning the story of the world is what they are telling not just a single person.

The warden can't come back to many origins also the characters dragon age have been redesigned which would really distort your warden especially if they were an elf
