 I DID IT!, Bethany's armor is now usable for hawke (female only) just like any other robe, i'm just doing some finishing touches, ill have it posted tonight if anyone want's it

Isn't it easier to just use the GFF editor to change an armor's appearance to look like Bethany's armor? Or is this some like really good new item for mages?

that's what i'm working on, thinking on whether i should use is as a evo type armor or either just make it a really good mage armor

The point people want to use bethanys robes means they generally want to use them from the start to the end of the game. I would make them evolve personally. But I can edit that myself if you choose not to. =)

Say... I don't suppose you could let us know how you work your magic? Sunny's got skills ( and some self written tools too ), but she's keepin' em close to the chest. If you show us how to make new things, we will, and share as well.

Though I liket the armors in DA2 than DAO, I still like to equip my chars a little less metal And Beth's armor looked really nice.
I only ask that don't make it a god item, only a decent one (or set one with decent stats )

A lot of Sunny's weapons and armors can be made entirely with the pyGFF editor v4.0-5.0, and the don't take that long either. There's a great tutorial in stunning PDF visage at http://dragonagenexu...ile.php?id=2203 (credit to the author(s).

I am really missing having a good selection of armors and clothes. So glad to see people making armor mods already! Yay!

Yeah, the armors in this game are great but robes on the other hand are terrible! Bethanys robe is the only one that i like. Well the warden robes good but that looks like armor more than a robe...

It'll be done tonight, i'm going to grab some brain food and ill finish it up. my idea's for it is have similar stats to the mage champion armor.

Keep in mind people may prefer either the 'busty' or 'actual' version of Bethany.
(cth_betb and cth_beta, respectively). You may want to make an option to choose either.

Screw it, i'm just going to replace the champs armor, if it going to continue leveling with you throughout the game, why replace it with another armor, plus, you can just take it out if you want the normal champ armor

It wouldn't, actually. You'd have to deal with the conflicting meshes since Bethany's armor is all one piece, and the champ's armor is not. There'd be lots of clipping. (tried that myself)
EDIT: plus, what champ armor would you replace? Mage? What if I want Bethany's armor on my rogue?

What I would suggest is to take a random robe that isn't used much in the game, replace its appearance, add stats to it such as evolving, runeslots etc. And to finish it up make it spawn in inventory.

It's the latter two that I personally can't be bothered with, the rest I got down

Seriously, if you're just going to make a swap with the champs armor, don't bother, any monkey can do that him/herself.
