Hey all,
So I just started this rogue character in Dragon Age 2, and I've played Dragon Age Origins. It didn't matter what you did, you could just add whatever spells/talents you wanted. However, in DA2, I see the talents are more divided and in-depth, with all the upgrades for each individual ability and such. So I was wondering, to maximize your characters effectiveness, should I only master and max out the abilities of say two or three talent trees (e.g. Dual weapons, Suberfuge)? Or can I just add abilities all over the place and still be effective? Right now I have an ability or two in almost every talent, and its really fun, but I am unsure.
Advice anyone?

Take what seems like it would be useful. generaly you want to have a combination of high damage abilities and defensive ones. With the web design of the trees you can take talents that are good while generaly avoiding less appealing ones. Even so you can also experiment and respec at any time using the "maker's sigh" potion that you can buy at the black emporium.

Do you HAVE to only choose a few talent trees? Or can you use them all at once?
