Flemeth doesn't appear when using a party size of 1 (bug)
So the whole thing basically stops after the orge kill until you put yourself forward using console.
When allies are there on hold position/passive it is passable. I quicksaved just as the orge died and did it on my 3rd try.

Been trying to do the 2 ship captain night encounter and have so far been unsuccessful but I'll post some findings.

Using stunning mind blast + barrier + crushing prison lets you survive long enough to get them to start drinking pots. 1v2 it comes down to stunning them both then either crushing prison, cone of cold, or staff then starting the kite cycle again. I'm not sure if barrier is 100% needed but it lets you take the first 2 backstabs + kill all adds. I went into it 2 elfroot 1/1 pots and run out of mana. Will try again with mana pots and some grenades.

It works(I'm 99% sure it does anyway), but I didn't upgrade it, and I didn't want to waste mana on a non-damaging spell. I wanted to do it in a semi-quick fashion, using the least amount of pots possible(I ended up using 3, heh), and without respeccing. Damaging spells were just more efficient given the style I was going for, which wasn't executed perfectly - but good enough.


Also if you don't have petrify upgraded, it will reduce spell dmg by 50%.  Upgraded only gives a -30% dmg.

I'm kind of surprised you haven't grabbed any cold spells.  Would make rock wraiths and dragons much easier and slow down pretty much anyone.

Build:
Stunning Mind Blast, Crushing Prison
Improved Spirit Bolt, Walking Bomb
Rock Armor, Upgraded Fist, Chain Light
Fist of the Maker, +100 Fort

Tactics:
Time to play NASCAR. Run to the other end of the docks and start running in a circle. When both captains are unstealthed, mindblast and bolt one. Start running in a circle again. If you can't evade a backstab, turn your back to the wall and take some regular hits. DO NOT KILL ANY ADDS! If you kill the adds, a large mess of new adds plus archers will come and you will die. Basically you have to kill 1 captain then the other then all the adds. Sprit bolt has what seems to be the fastest cast animation so that is why it is used.

To test:
Upgraded walking bomb that does damage over time. Get a captain to almost dead, mindblast and bomb him. Hope the blast kills the other one and not you.

This takes forever!

Haha I was hoping that would be the case, I realized that was one of the quests still in my log(so I'm dumb), and after walking in I was like "If there's a desk in here..." lol!

Yep. You have to manually move yourself to the start of act 1, not to mention with Rock Armor + all the line of sight, the archers aren't really an issue.

I have a different spec in mind for Rock Wraith, but I don't wanna post it here until I try it out(it might fail massively). I'm going into the spirit tree next for the walking bomb + chain lighting combo.

I'm stuck.

The first wave of Coterie as you arrive in the docks for the Loose Ends quest (boy running towards you at start) - a coterie assassin and 4x2handers and lots of archers spawning as soon as you kill the first 2hander. If the assassin catches up its usually backstab+poisoning = death.

Tried 2 tactics so far, both aiming to kill the 2handers first...
- running into the right hand ally as you start - the archers pull.
- running left and immediately right down the ally towards the water - the assassin catches up when turning around

I tried waiting till higher level (more spells) - level 5, 6 and 7 didn't help either, and I need to get level 8 before pushing into any other content (ranged knockback spiders :@ )

Current spells (at level 5 save):
-Stonefist
-Chain lightning
-Rock armor
-Tempest
-Mind blast (I don't have access to the DLCs - no respec)

Any suggestions?

Edit: Specifying which version of quest I have.

I went the Mercenary route and didn't have that quest. Try zoning in from the other side of the docks so you can pull the enemies that way and have room to kite (Where Harrowmont was). Exit at that exit at daytime and choose docks night. I think that should work.

I did that fight yesterday - kiting him on top of the stairs allows you to kill him without the 2nd (and 3rd?) wave of adds coming.

BTW, full primal instead of spanning out seems to be working much nicer. Nearly level 8 now with only the coterie archer at the end of the docks and ignacio giving me trouble.

I always end up having 1 archer add come that I could never kill due to his healing aura. Did you guys just run to the way back right away then chainlightning them as they came up?

I can't seem to clear the desire demon in the foundry or captain Qeurth. Driving me nuts.

Killed Desire but used so many pots and grenades =[ Waste of money!

What % lightning resist are you running for the Rock Wraiths? I can get mine up to 98% at lvl 12. If I buy a better quality socketable, should be able to hit 100.

OMG finished the Qerth encounter and then hit F9 instead of F5. ****!!!
How you guys did this without walking bomb is beyond me =p

I opened the door and stone fist 1 archer, then LOS them in that starting room, chain lightning at the door, then ran to the back whilst the chain lightning cooled down and hit them again as they came back up the stairs. Might have also dropped tempest at the top of the stairs I think.

It seems to be luck based if the add comes or not. I got lucky and managed to save after killing him. Then I got the 1 archer of the 2nd? wave down to 1 shot walking bomb, killed all the weak adds to spawn the next wave, los into walking bomb kill of 5ish archers, mana dump the final archer of the final wave and kite.

I have now finished every quest pre deeproads. Does anyone know the elemental weaknesses of darkspawn, shades, profanes, etc?

Darkspawn are weak to spirit.

Qerth is annoying not because he's hard, but because 3 people during that fight each use 3 pots. Takes forever. I just killed archer adds while kiting all the melee(take 0 damage when archer adds are down), then when no more archer adds came I continued kiting melee while killing Qerth. I tried kiting him on top of the stairs, but I got the next wave anyway, meh.

Oh yeah, my electricity resist is sitting at 100%. Elec resist helm from the robes guy, Black Emporium double slot chest, the gloves you get for free from the chest have a slot, and the boots of the frozen wastes have a slot. With all that, if you're not sitting  at 100%, grab the 20% elec resist mage armor upgrade and lose some of your elec gear/slots in favor of upgrades.

Why are you stacking up on lightning resist? Will 100% really be that worthwhile for the rock wraith?

Yeah, at 100% resist his ranged attack only hits you for 3-5 and his adds hit you for 1-2.

Tried it twice but I couldn't get it to stay long enough for a good shot. Lasts like 4 secs. Killed the dragon without incident but it seems I picked up the makers mark bug. I have 2 spells listed that I don't have. Don't want to redo the fights though. Hopefully popping another one will fix it. =[

Edit: Respec gives an extra 2 talent points. Have to replay Qerth, 2 ship caps, and deep roads. =/

Lol Monstrous Spider glitches if you stay at the top of the stairs? Time to go smoke and hope he's dead by the time I come back.
