I am assuming art\\Characters\\PlayerCharacter\\HumanMale\\Animation\\BlendTree\\tw is in artfp.erf, but I am unsure how to get in there.  It seems the old Dragon Age erf editor won't let me open that.

Is there an up to date erf editor for DAII?

pyGFF is what I use to view and extract resources from the DA2 erf and rim files.

Hmm, that's strange. When I try to open artfp.erf with pyGFF, I get a list of .ani and other stuff. What file should I look in to find all of the paths to the animations?

For example art/creatures/ etc. or art/characters/playercharacter/ etc.?

Where should I look to find that info? Basically I need to see which monsters possess which animations and the paths are to those animations.

You need to download the hash file listings and drop the file in where you extracted pyGFF, after extracting it, of course. We don't yet have all of the proper filenames, so some will still display incorrectly, but I'm hearing that we have around 96% of the filenames now.

Sweet deal. So I am still kind of new to this, so please forgive me for seeming a bit dumb, but I am a little confused on how to 'download the hash file listings'.

Where can I do this from?

It's one of the other downloads where you got pyGFF.

Okay. I downloaded fnvdump-20110319pm.zip and extracted it into my pyGFF folder.

After doing that, where can I locate that list of art file names for animations?

A-ha! So I just opened artfp.erg and scrolled down the list and now I think I see what I need. :] Thank you!

After you take out an .gda within an erf, how do you put it back in?

Solo .gda files don't need to be packaged as .erf files in order to function as overrides.

However, to answer your question, you would need to do File -> Export All on the original .erf, drop your replacement .gda in, and then repack the .erf using erfpacker.
