My dwarven warden is only there to strengthen dwarven kind. He sided with bhelen and branka. destroyed the ashes because he didn't believe in the maker. destroyed the elves and redcliff. so generally he wouldn't really care what happened topside to the Mages.

My Warden would have left him alive, as a punishment. Also because killing him would only inspire more fanatics to follow in his steps.

My DCF? I think she'd look at Anders and wonder if that thing was really Anders anymore or an abomination? Her Anders wouldn't have killed that many innocents to start a war. So, she'd kill him. Whether that's the right thing to do in the end or not, who knows? Make him a martyr? Well, perhaps, but I can't recall him being mentioned as such, Cassandra seemed to be more interested in Hawke. But that may be just the epilogue I got for my choices.

Let's see if DA3 or DLC brings any answers or just another protagonist that wanders off ;-)

My warden? He would have propably jailed the guy, or just killed him. Pretty much the same thing as I did with Hawke. Especialy because he was goodie-two-shoes.

My warden would have kicked him in the crotch, nipple grabbed him and emasculated him. Then I'd let him live. If only to p*ss off Sebastian, who's way too Chantry loving for me to like.

Well since I'm a mage and the Champion and the Warden are cousins there opinions will be intertwined. The Warden meets with the Champion the Warden asks the Champion his opinion both would make the decision to imprison him though Sebastian might say that not killing Anders will make him build an army to destroy Kirkwall both the charismatic influence of both Hawke and Amell convince him that that is not what the Divine Mother would want him to do.

Both Amell and Hawke realize however when the uprising begin that they have to prevent another Imperium and so for the night they help the mages but for the war they'll help restore order within the circles.

My city elf assassin/shadow Warden would probably raise an eyebrow and say "well Anders, I certainly didn't think you of all people would have the balls to do this". She wouldn't mind one way or another as she never cared much for humans in general, or the Maker for that matter.

She would offer her help in getting Anders and Hawke out of Kirkwall with Zevran, that's for sure. Her loyalties may lie in many places but she doesn't leave a fellow Warden behind.

I wish you could make Anders tranquil... in Act I. Screw that guy. Without his kitten, he's lame.

If you push hard and often you can break peoples mind. But it was not Anders was it! it was a mix of Anders and Justice, as I see the Justice part made him loss his mind. What can seem to be Justice often is not.

The story as I seen it was, that the hard oppression of the Templars pushed the mages and Anders of the edge. By blowing up the church and then using the blood magic, they played in the hands of templars.

The end never justifies the means and that you need to respect people. If you do not then they will do what you expect them to do. That is the lesson I think they are trying to tell us.

You know I am just saying this. Many people hate Anders for what he did, then kill him for revenge. That makes you just act like him. He also did it for revenge. Or maybe even a better reason.

My Hawke killed him because he didn't want Starkhaven waging war unto Kirkwall to be added to all the chaos he knew Anders had already started.

My Warden would have let him live just as my Hawke did. Thedas needs a better way than the Circle, and after Anders did what he did, the die has been cast, even if the Warden didn't do it. Better to let him live and try to redeem his actions by helping to fix the mess than kill him.

Also, I do not think Anders was in any way insane.

My Mage Warden would have tortured him until he was ready to make a public apology for his actions and declare full support of the Chantry and Templars. Then he would have made him tranquil.
