I just ran across some tomes. I wanted to spend 13 gold to buy them, and after purchase, the item is no where to be found. Does it automatically apply to my main char? Or it is hidden in some menu I forget to check?
They changed quite a few things in DA2 so I was taken for some surprise. Like gift giving now is in a form of quests instead of items. In a way it is good to reduce item hording like in DA:O. But I still need help with tomes.
Thanks
Can we give tome to companions?

Tomes are automatically applied to Hawke, you can't give them to companions.

Thanks. I guess I can save 13g because I already have excessive Ability points to start with. Read Maker's Sigh glitch, I have 30+ ability points and 6 specialization points.
In fact, just tested. Purchasing the tome did not even give me extra ability point. I guess I already exceeded my quota for the game on possible ability points purchase outside of levels.

Ah yes I saw them, they look like green circle with the big white arrow point up. I just found a webpage explaining all the combo between classes. So now I am revamping all my characters so they can work with each other. I was so clueless on what spells/abilities to take, now this had narrowed down a lot to how I will spec.
This will be so much fun.
