I have to pre-order ME3. I have to see my Shepard's story to the end. Even if ME3 totally sucks, I'll be pre-ordering the collector's edition. I don't have a choice!
Although I'm hoping it doesn't end up like DA2. ME3 should be something really special. It's the end of a journey many of us started over three years ago. That's the difference between ME3 and DA2. While you can import your DA:O save into DA2, it doesn't really make much of a difference plus it's not a continuation of the same story. Mass Effect is Shepard's story and many of us have a lot invested into our Shepards.

While there's no doubt I'm buying ME3 (yes via pre-order) I have to say the rumors of a Mass Effect MMO set my teeth on edge, I really hope we don't see BioWare do to the ME world what Blizzard did to the Warcraft world via WoW. I don't care how popular it is the MMO market = epic fail and I'm sad to see so much of the gaming industry focused there 
(yes I've played MMOs, that's how I came to this conclusion).
Here's hoping BioWare stays true (and/or returns too) the focus on Story driven RPGs they're one of the only studios I still support, I *really* would hate for that to change.

I wouldn't like a ME MMO, but i would like a mass effect game where i could play as another species, fair enough shepards story is pretty good, but playing as a Krogan or a Salarian would just be oh so sweet.

DA2's reception have nothing to do with ME3, I liked it but they're completely different teams.
