Okay, so quick question about the Mage's Champion Armor (chestpiece)....what's that thing below the neck that juts out? Is there really a purpose, or is it more a design thing? The reason I ask is that it's in Dead Space also, which makes me think there may be an actual reason. Thanks!

In Dead Space, that's what projects all of his info, i.e. video transmissions and menu/inventory. I haven't seen what it looks like here, but it definitely can't be for the same purpose, lol.

Protection. Its a neck collar that protects you from decapitations, well from the front anyway. Watch your backs!
