Anyone played all the way through using only the Wry, Humorous or Witty options?

Saemus is dead, the Viscount is holding him and she says "Well, look on the bright side, it can't get any worse ... tonight at least ... it's pretty late"

LOL :o

This Hawke is so much better than my goodie, nice to everyone Hawke

Have Aveline in the party and she goes: "'It's pretty late'? You ass." Right after you leave.

My Hawke in the first playthrough was a straight-arrow kind of person who basically would do anything that was asked of her.

>_> In my second play-through she was about as mean as you could be. When "Sarcastic" was available, I made sure to choose it. If Sarcastic wasn't available and instead "Charming" was, I would instantly take the more vindicative approach.

Merrill: Why did Pol run away!
Hawke: (Looks at "Do you want more time?" and "He was an idiot." Chooses He was an idiot)
Merrill: D: DICK

My Hawke is such. And do I love her for that!

She does know when to stop however. Well, most of the time. Well, some of the time...

Hells yeah for sarcastic and witty Hawke. It's kind of amusing to watch m!Hawke automatically bust out his sarcastic lines if you choose them enough times on the most inappropriate situations. Sure makes for a humorous exchange between him and the Arishok.

He just wins all the time.

She was and yes I got that ... right after I posted :P

My first play through was interesting, this time it's a real hoot :D

Next play through with angry Hawke will be interesting ... a mage as well as anti-everyone

The only thing i noticed was how much your character's overpowered. From that perspective it's really look like a hack'sSlash game.

I only noticed

VROOOM
VLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLAM
VLIIIIIIIIIIIM
ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
BOOOOOOOOOOOOM

I win.

I'm so glad I made my first Hawke humorous, it saved me from becoming completely depressed by the end of the game, though I did make him a little moody after the death of his mother.

Sarcastic and witty is really the best way to go about things. Mostly because that is how I go about my business in real life too. I like to tease my friends. But then again, I wouldn't go and wisecrack at someone's funeral.

So yeah, the Sarcastic option was the best.

Funny Hawke is the greatest protagonist BioWare's created.

The lines are golden. They really made him shine.

The Magistrate says that he's been looking for someone with my skills. Hawke's funny reply is something like, "You heard that I can juggle hamsters to an Orlesian ballad?"

It's...it's funnier than I remember it and the delivery was great.

Haha, I loved Magistrate's answer for it too. I love being wisecracker at Aveline too. She's always giving me crap for not being serious and complaining in a good way.

"Come out, there's no need to be hiding. Unless you're a dragon, in that case feel free to stay hidden"

That is all.

That being said, while I tried, I didn't actually manage to see it through to the end - at some point or the other, I always end up straying from the emotionally detached sarcasm path, because the game gets too close to me. Good job guys :o

I was always bit annoyed in DA:O, when I would have gone for hilarious options the other characters just angry at me. Would have been better if the Rivaly system was already in that game.

My Sarcstic Hawkes kinda of change after Leandra dies, they still keep the sarcasm but they get a tad bit more serious and more caring :=p

"It seems more swordy than the last time I saw it."

I love the way bioware made witty Hawke, has to be the best protagonist so far.
One of my favourite lines of hers at the start:
Mother: I wish carver was still her
Aveline: and Wesley
Hawke: well were off too a fantastic start.....

I've always taken a liking to lighthearted witty characters so witty/humorous was the way to go for my main Hawke. She makes a perfect verbal tandem with Varric. xD

First play through was as as Miss ****, it was fun but meh.

Second play through as Miss sarcastic **** is far more amusing, if not unbelievably inappropriate.

Yes I noticed a few times on my second playthrough it seemed like after choosing the sarcastic options enough on my rogue he started randomly bursting out with them before there were choices displayed. Unless I'm imagining this I thought this was a cool mechanic.
