but how do i edit the pictures in photoshop? Okay I figured out how to export all from a ERF file in gff editor. Now that I found the item pieces I want to modify in some type of Photo shop program. I want to look at arm_nuda I see that it has 2 file extentions arm_nuda.phy and arm_nuda.msh.
Edit NM Figured out what I needed to do. I didnt go in far enough dirrectories.

The files you want to edit in Photoshop will be .dds files (DirectDraw surface). It's DirectX's standard texture file format. .phy and .msh are different (physics and mesh?). Nvidia has a .dds plugin for Photoshop, but it doesn't work with the 64-bit version.

Download DXTBMP.
http://www.softpedia...rs/DXTBmp.shtml
You can use this program to open your DDS files. You then save as a 24BMP image and open it up in photoshop without any problems. Once you're done editing crack open DXTBMP again and save the file back to a DDS file and continue on your path of ERF packing etc.
It's a pain in the nether regions but it works.
