Hi guys, I have a question about the sibling that can return to be companion in Act 3. In the Piggyback guide, it says that in order to have them in you party in the last battle if the quest Finding Nathaniel is completed. I wonder, is this true? In my playthrough I can't activate Nathaniel's quest (almost certain is the Assault of Amaranthine bug, since I didn't activate Fool Rush's, and the savefile of Origins doesn't seem corrupted).
Sibling as a companion in Act 3?

It's not true for the final mission. As for beyond that, I don't think you can get them to join you permanently anyway, even with that mission.

I remember saw some streaming video with Carver in the party in the last battle.

In my game, Bethany went to the Circle. I sided with the mages and was able to add her to my group for the final battle.
Heck, the only reason I sided with the mages at the end was to save Bethany from being killed, as I thought the rest of the lot were all basically blood mages by this point.

To clarify:
You can definitely get your sibling for the last battle. Even if you're on the opposite side of them.
You may be able to get them for Nathaniel's mission. I didn't have a file with Nathaniel being alive and my sibling being a Warden, so I do not know.
I am fairly certain you can't get them for all of Act 3, considering the game makes a big deal out of seeing them on a few separate occasions in Act 3.

Nope, this is false. Your sibling will rejoin the party in the last mission of Act 3 regardess of whether or not Finding Nathaniel is completed.hhh89 wrote...

It may be tied to having high Friendship or Rivalry before their exit after Act 1 though, I don't know.

It's just the final battle, I've just tried with Warden/Circle Bethany, and IIRC you get her a bit earlier if she's a Warden (already on the way to the Circle - kind of useful, since I tend to find myself lacking a mage at that point
)
But yes, I've done the Nathaniel quest (where she shows up, if she's a warden - as a blue-circle ally, not joinable) on both playthroughs, so I don't know if it's a requirement. Wouldn't make sense for a non-warden sibling, but I guess it could for a Warden (I think it's the part where Bethany at least starts to forgive you for making her a Warden).
