No epilogue? Really? I guess Varric's "wrap up" is supposed to be good enough. Don't get me wrong: I really enjoyed this game. But I was really let down at the end. I'm guessing this is because of future DLC, which I will happily buy, but still...what a hollow ending. Ugh.

I was kinda expecting Hawke to come and rescue Varric... But I guess the Seekers was not the big bad guys they gave themselves out to be. At least for now.
Oh and before I forget.
DA2 had no beginning, it has no ending. DA2 is more like a side story that should lead us to DA3 which will take place in Orlais.

I hope DA3 brings us back to a more Dragon Age friendly universe and RPG elements. Graphics will only improve, and the awesome combat animations can stay. But seriously, there is no single recipe for a great game. If it is a racing game, stick with racing, and DA is an RPG game, don't try to wing it to appease button pushers.
In fact, DA games already have it easy for their developers. There is no open world where they have to spend so much time to ensure continuity and linkage between different zones. Just think of WoW ... it took a lot of work to make sure the whole world is seamless. DA doesn't have to worry about that. So why is it so dang hard to provide us with more areas? Each area is totally independent from each other, and only connected via a 2D map.
DA2 has so much potential. And we can only hope DA3 will pick up where DA2 failed.
