OK I'm in Act 2, finished his act 2 personal quest "A Bitter Pill" (where he kill a female mage, and learned about his sister). And he visited my estate at night, when I asked him to stay, he stromed out and saying it's better for both of us that he leaves. 

He's locked at 100% friendship before I did this quest, I flirted with him every time the "heart" option is available. I had the question and believe mid quest talk with him. I gave him the slave book gift (the second gift won't be avaible until Act 3). 

So yeah.... I also slept with Isabella, but I heard she sleep with Hawke regardsless they're in a relationship or not. I even ended Anders romance because I don't want it to interfere with Fenris Romance. 

Did I screw it up? Is there anything I need to do to trigger anything to happen? I remember when Anders it's like I went to talk to him in his Dark Town Clinic, and he moved in during Act 3. What's the deal with Fenris?

No, Fenris never moves in. Its just part of the story.

Fenris never moves in. Boy like his independence. As far as I know, after you sleep with him in Act 2, if you want to complete his romance, don't fool around with anybody else.

In Act 3 then the romance will continue. Somebody correct me if wrong.

Fenris always runs away after some naughty time. If you stay true to him he will come back after his act 3 personal quest, but he never moves in.

If he has a red ribbon on his arm and the Hawke family crest on his hip, then he will come back after completing his quest in Act3.

It sounds like he stormed out pre-lovin', right? That happened to me too, the first time around, and it turns out that sleeping with any other character prior to him will lock you out of things going further than that conversation in the estate foyer. So, yes, bedding Isabela screwed up your chances with Fen. I had to replay most of Act II to fix that.

NO~~~~~~~~(screaming in 4am) I sleeped with Isabella to secure her friendship (so she won't abandoned me at the end of Act 2). I can't believe I have to replay entire Act 2 to fix this! The last save I had that can fix the problem is the one right before the Deep Road expedition.... Good thing I kept that one or I'll have to replay the entier freaking game!

Man I can't believe this. That's like 8 hours of game play!!!

Some one tell me it isn't so...   please.....

Does Fenris have a red ribbon around his hand and the Hawke family crest? If he does, as far as I've understood, the romance is "active". Even though he always storms out after sex.

If he left with out glowy kiss when you asked him to stay, then you screwed it up. You need to make sure you get "Questioning Beliefs" before "A Bitter Pill". You also can't sleep with anyone else before you get Fen.I don't know if you can afterwards, I avoided her like the plague and she ended up leaving because she idn't like me being so very MORAL about everything   At least, for me, it was the ONLY WAY fenris would give me the time of day. Pretty sure I played act2 at least 6 times before I got him to lurve me ;x


As for moving in, no he never does. Instead he wears your favor and house crest if he's in love with you. He's a free man for the first time in his life, and Hawke knows better then to ask him to give up that hard earned freedom. That doesn't mean he isn't staying the night with you 99% of the time. ;p It just means he has his own place so he can 'be free to dance around the mansion in his skivies' ;p

I went back to the game and checked, and NO...there's no red ribbon or Hawk family crest.

I have reload the year 4 save and have to replay the entier Act 2. Damn it, Isabella! You screw me over last time by running away with Qunari book, now this time You seriously literarily screw me over with Fen's Romance! You evil evil woman.....

I swear I'll handed you over to Arishok.

Thank you for letting me know... Oddly, good to know I'm not the only one who's obsessed with him to replay Act 2. 

I'm pretty sure by now it's the Isabella one night stand that screw up Fenris and me... How did he even find out?! Isabella probably boasted about it when she's drunk...

I slept with Isabela and he still wore the ribbon and crest and came back, so that probably didn't ruin his romance, maybe you chose a wrong line in a conversation ?

Well, Fen stormed out after "A bitter pill" quest post quest midnight visit without kissing or loving, he just said it's better for him to leave and that's it. And there's no ribbon or family crest, and there's no special dialog or whatever. Doesn't looks like there'll be any until Act 3, and I'm not gonna keep playing and find out.

I'm pretty sure I didn't say anything wrong, I flirted with him whenever it's available and He's at 100% friendship lock.

Ah ok, he will visit you one more time and then you need to actually sleep with him to have him wear the ribbon. He leaves after the 'A bitter pill quest' and then comes back to Hawke next time you return to the estate saying sth along the lines of 'I can't stop thinking about you', only sleeping with him then will trigger the romance.

I think I also screwed up with his relationship. He has the red ribbon and all, but I didn't get the forgiveness cutscene in Act 3 and the romance end scene. :S Really weird. Did all his quests, gave him gifts. And the party talked about our relationship. :S

My Hawke flirted with Fenris first. She got his rivalry almost maxed before the end of Act I, and gave him his gift and did his quests first at the start of Act II. Then she slept with Isabella, and said she wasn't bringing feelings into it ("just for fun"). Then she slept with Fenris, and he walked out afterward as usual.

He's wearing the ribbon and Hawke crest, so it seems doable to complete with Fenris after that, but I'm still in Act II in that playthrough so I can't confirm.

I absolutely screwed it, no idea why. Things were going well, he left after sex, seemed to be coming back after Anders called us out on it... but it never happened.

So you can sleep with Isabella before Fen's Romance progression. I told Isabella it's just for fun... Maybe I should kept playing and see if Fen returns? So confusing...

It's very simple actually : if you spent the night with him in Act2, he'll get scared and leave. If he's wearing the ribbon and crest after that, then the romance is 'working' and he'll come back to you, but only after his quest in Act3.

I didn't sleep with her, she stayed. you just need to make sure you have at 50% in friendship and she'll stay. everything you say to her has to be humurous, it adds way more points this way

If you make is serious with any other LI other than Fen, the romance with him will cut off, however he will still wear the red ribbon.

isabella isn't serious with you unless you talk to her about feelings. sex is a free pass. however with the other two, once you have sex with them i think they ask to move in. if you allow it, then the romance with fenris will cut off.

hm that's weird, it shouldn't be cut off unless you finished his "questioning beliefs" pt 2 quest and didn't flirt with him, or you are in act 3 and made up with Fen

The thing is I didn't get to sleep with Fen after his personal quest in Act 2. He come visit me at my estate after his personal quest A Bitter Pile and there's no sex or kiss or whatever, he just left. And there's no ribben or anything.

I did sleep with Isabella and I told her it's just for fun, I thought it should be fine...

I'll redo Act 2 tonight and let you guys know if it works.
