Some more info - What I did before -  Act 2 begining - went home, spoke to Mom, first  visited Fenris - Speak to Fenris + Questioning Beliefs (I had full frienship after Speak to Fenris), then I  visited other companions, flirted with Isa, went for Bitter pill, gave Orana money . Didn't get glowing kiss.
What I did differently - Act 2 begining - went home, spoke to Mom, visited Fenris - Speak to Fenris + Questioning Beliefs , went back home, spoke to Mom again, Mom spoke about Fenris. Went for Bitter Pill, gave Orana job  . Went home, got glowing kiss.

So you can sleep with Isabella before Fen's Romance progression. I told Isabella it's just for fun... Maybe I should kept playing and see if Fen returns? So confusing...

It's very simple actually : if you spent the night with him in Act2, he'll get scared and leave. If he's wearing the ribbon and crest after that, then the romance is 'working' and he'll come back to you, but only after his quest in Act3.

I only get act 2 romance, never seen him in act 3, he talks about how bad he feels and all but he never come back, not like anders anyway, yes you have 2 sexy times with anders, haven't seen it with fenris or isabella, oh and I flirt with everyone, but only bed the one I am after. probably a bug...

Sorry!!! Now i remember, you do get the  second time in act 3, is just not in your house thats why is so easy to forget!.. rofl.

isabela in the hang man.
Fenris in his house.
Anders in your house.

I haven't done anything with merril.. she is wierd!

I got the impression that whoever you bed last is the one you end up with in Act 3. So here on my second playthrough I've been doling out a reign of sexual terror and my intention was to have Fenris as my "save the best til last" choice...

I've had the bitter pill situation, where I didn't get the initial flirt option of "I'm worried" but I got the final one which was "don't go" after which he pisses right off. I've been back and forth to Hawke estate on several occasions now and nothing.

My last romp before this was with Anders so I have no idea if that has something to do with it or if the game is going to generate it randomly. Been reading through all of this to get a guage on whether Fenris will come back for sexytime or not but I there are so many different accounts I actually can't tell.

Why is this guy so complicated to romance? I've been a mage-hating-blood-made-bastard behind Anders' back and I still got him in the sack....

I actually think the other version of that scene is sexier.

Which version you get, from what I've read, has to do with whether or not you've done his Questioning Beliefs quest at that point.

You slept with Anders in this game?  Apparently sleeping with Anders or Merrill nullifies any possiblity for romance with Fenris.  If you want to romance Fenris, it's probably safest to focus only on him and not fool around with the others.

I agree. I like the extra dialogue. "I have been thinking about you..."

It depends on the order of quests. If you do Questioning beliefs first, you can get the glowing kiss. If you do QB after A Bitter Pill, you get the "Command me to go, and I shall" scene.

I have seen several players post that they successfully slept with Isabella, Merrill and/or Anders before romancing Fenris. I have never tried this with Anders or Merrill (the break-up scenes are too painful), but I have tried it with Isabella. I've attempted this at various stages of friendship or rivalry, with both Fenris and Isabella. I've tried it before and after his Questioning Beliefs.

Every single time, sleeping with Isabella cuts off the Fenris romance for me. I haven't once been able to make it work.

Exactly! I'd read the same thing and tried it myself and it didn't work for me. Elsewhere, I'd read that if you have Fenris at 100%, it doesn't cut off the potential for romance if you sleep with someone else.  But again, I did not find that to be the case.
