Online profile not activating

I've been clicking the "Activate Online Profiles" link for days now. Tried it with the game running for hours, tried at different times of day, tried mashing it like an idiot, but I still can't seem to get it working. Is there any secret to that?

You're not the only one. Mine won't activate either and I have been trying for days. If anyone here knows how to activate it I would be really grateful.

I found it only activated if I load up the game let it log in, then alt tab out and then try clicking activate

For me it only activated when I tried it in Internet Explorer. Didn't work for me in Chrome or Firefox 4.

I've also had issues trying to make it activate for some time now. It worked once apparently on the 12th, but refuses to do so again. I tried the tips posted so far, but no luck. Any other roundabout ways of making this work?
