was there any poin of the the witch hunt dlc.  I dont understand how that ties to dragon age 2.  ok flemeth never died but it was not a shock as morrigan already told us this.  but i wonder  why he had to import the save over to dragon age 2 if the warden dose the raven dissapering act even when his the king/ queen consort :S

I think it's been stated that the choices made will come into play at some point, but currently isn't being used.

Actually, I think Flemeth "dies", but has a backup plan just in case The Warden took her out. Probably the one guy she was worried about taking her out, she figured it'd be better to be prepared...just in case.

Witch Hunt was essentially to stall the Morrigan storyline while giving fanservice to a select group of players.

Well at the end of my playthrough, the cutscene said that the warden had gone "missing". Remember this is almost 7 years now AFTER witchhunt. A lot could have taken place with the warden in that time.

do we know that for a fact?we have never seen a timeline when whichhunt was supposed to take place. my guess it takes place between the time alistair visits krikwall and the end of da2.

please correct me if i am wrong.

I also questioned this in another thread, when you meet alistair, if your married he says he needs to get back, so either WH has happened or yet to happen. I'm guessing afterwards due to either male going through the mirror or female looking at the book and finding out something awesome which needs attention? :?

which could explain the awrden going off?

Witch hunt takes place 2 years after Awakening.

Awakening takes place 6 months after the arch demon is slain. Witchhunt takes place 2 1/2 years after the Archdemon is slain. The events in origins took place over a 1 year period. That's the first year you spend in Kirkwall, working you way inside. By the time the 2nd Act starts, Witchhunt has just taken place.

So yea, by the time the game ends, it has been 7 years since Witchhunt happened.  That also means the ogb is almost 10 years old.  Unless age is excelerated where they went?

If they didn't import it, then they couldn't carry the data over to DA3 or 4.

They did import. They just dont have any effect on the main story of DAII, YET. Thats what one of the fancy moderators said.

I remeber reading in the DCL that it had been 2/3 years since she disappeared.

I hope WH doesn't have a big impact on anything, because I never realised until starting DA2, that I had the glitched version of WH with no epilogue save :/

Hopefully BioWare have learnt from their previous importing bugs for when we go from DA2 to DA3.

Didn't they state somewhere that Witch Hunt isn't canon. Maybe I misheard.

I read that the witch hunt DLC is not even flagged in the DA2 so only your decisions in DA:O, DA:A are being counted right now.

I'm having the exact same issue, it's a bit frustrating.  And I'm unable to find any real answers or solutions.  I recently started playing again and had to start over do to my old fat ps3 bricking a few years back and losing all my data.

I play on the ps3 and the game auto-saved at the end of WH, right after you talk to her and go over to get the Dalish book and whatever the item of interest is. Once it auto-saved, it cut to credits.
