Bioware, please give us Cullen as a fully romanceable companion in a DLC or Expansion..I've always been interested in him as a character since I played the Mage origin in DAO. Then after seeing him again I liked that you expanded his story. Now I want him. That is all.

I know, it was a poor attempt at humor. I personally really liked Greg Ellis' Anders but given that a bunch of DA2 scenes would be really weird with him talking to himself (if Anders is in the party), I get why they changed VA's.

I still would like to see/hear Gerg Ellis in DA3 as Cullen, they really outdone themselves with him in DA3. My poor heartbroken Surana is pining for him something fierce.

I highly approve of the model for Cullen. One of the best DA:O translations into DA2. (Flemeth was good too, but Cullen LOOKs like Cullen, just....better. Tis cruelty that he wasn't romanceable in this one. He was less creepy.

Me too. And I it would not suprise me at all, if they didnt already have some plans for him. He looks great, his voice is brilliant. He also has issues, even though he doesnt appaer as crazy in DA2, and we all know Bioware loves issues.

Wasn't he Cullen's voice actor long before Anders'? Would make sense to keep him with the same voice if he's gonna be a companion in DA3. (Oh, please Maker yes!) I would love to see Cullen after he'd left the Templars and going through lyrium withdrawal. (I enjoy my companions' pain. So sue me.)

I was thinking the same thing. Now they can use the same voice if they want to. He is a templar so he will definitly fit in the plot.
Also the whole lyrium addiction. We keep hearing about it, but we never go very deep into it. Would be interesting to see how that works out. Oh and to romance him as a mage would be epic.

Seriously, though.  Cullen needs some lovin'.  My Amells and Suranas always wanted to play "the naughty apprentice and the hapless recruit" with him but he never let them.   Hawke must rectify this!

Yay Cullen. He's the real hero of DA2 imho. That man's got backbone. Where's the 'hug' option when you need it?

Never understood the fascination with Cullen. Don't want the zealot templar. I would much rather have seen Greg Ellis come back as Anders 2.0. If Anders had turned to Hawke after the bombing and said, "What? They took my cat," it would all have been better.

Cullen is a perfectly reasonable fellow in DA2. I wouldn't mind seeing more of him.

Romance doesn't hurt.

I think it's definitely the "forbidden temptation" angle.  That's always fun, right?    And his crush on Amell/Surana added a really personal touch to the Mage Origin for me, so that gave him some brownie points.

I wasn't really a Cullen fan though until DA2, because he's NOT a zealot templar.  That was the surprising thing.  As soon as I heard he was in DA2, I thought "Oh lord, here we go... we're going to have to put him down like a mad dog for running around slaughtering mages".  And instead he turned out to be a perfectly sane, reasonable guy who will actually side with you in the end!

But yeah, I would still trade him for Greg Ellis as Anders 2.0.
