Seems like an elf-only armor though, shame. It would've been a pretty awesome rogue set.

Well, I'm the only one in my family who has red hair, and Fenris' eyebrows are black. But I doubt genetics applies to a game. Anyway, that was off-topic, but doesn't Cullen have reddish hair in DAO? I was thinking about the sexual ambiguity of the companions. It doesn't really bother me, but it does seem like none of them fit the Disney prince image (though Disney princes are... not exactly manly, either!). I miss Zevran, and even Alistair, who was at least funny, self-deprecating, and cute. Hell, I was upset when Duncan died. I liked his rakish pirate look.

I think Anders' demon is kinky. I was hoping he'd try that electricity thing on me

@Tuilinn : Yeah I suppose Fenris used to have black hair then. And yes, Cullen used to have redish hair! Or maybe it looked red due to the lighting in the Tower. Or he got his hair bleached when he left Ferelden. You know how it is, starting a new life goes along with changing hairstyles. Obviously.
And yes, Justice reaks of kinky. Too bad he doesn't approve of Hawke. (OR DOES HE)

I miss DAO companions too...maybe coz i spent too many hours with them..but it felt we were a company ......bound together to a common cause....I have only played DA2 two times so far tho ...maybe playing more will give me the fellowship im missing.

and i've been thinking...Cullen has grown much these 10 years. Became more openminded, mature, independent char.....Alistair at the other hand game me the impression that remained the big, fluffy (no pan intended...or maybe it was ) boy that still needs babysitting.....Zevran remained....well....Zevran .......Nate...havent met him still.....and Anders...he belongs to a whole new category....But Cullen...bacame a man now.....whatever that means

I was really disappointed at how Alistair acted in DA2 as well! After going through all the events of DAO, I felt he had grown up, and I never considered him a complete dolt. Maybe he's been eating too much cheese.

The thought crossed my mind the first time I met him! I felt swindled.
However, I have this feeling that Sebastian could morph into a truly evil character (unlike Cullen). I could see Sebastian hunting down mages like the Swedes chasing the Lithuanian pagans through the woods on horseback. And then skinning them alive. Repression always bursts out in a twisted way.

See! The writers just left that one hanging. I wonder if they'd considered Cullen as a companion, and then changed their minds. Then again, they could just be referring to the player's bravery at going through the Harrowing.

See? It's not just my eyes, is it? He looks older in DAO, too. This is pre-torture, mind you.



The lighting was very different. DAO was more shadowy. Ugh, being back in the Tower makes me feel claustrophobic all over again.

I rather liked Justice in Awakenings. The dead body thing was pretty creepy, but he had my back in a fight.I think he just disapproved of my Hawke diverting Anders' attention with kisses, when he wanted him to go out and blow up things.

Rather off-topic, but it cracked me up when we approached the Dalish camp, and Anders said (to paraphrase), "I'm through with dating elf girls. They all turn out to be crazy!"

To bring the topic back to Cullen, I was mulling over whether he's a little too perfect, but I think the troubled past, lyrium addiction, and conflicted feelings about mages are definitely rich pickings. Besides, just knowing he'd whack off my head at any hint of demonic possession (PMS!), gives me pause.

I miss the mole too, wish they hadn't removed it
But I think his hair is the same, it looked coppery in the tower light, but the toolset listed him with the same haircolor as Alistair (iirc dark blonde or similar)

Hair looks slightly darker in DA2.
eyes and colour is the same, eyebrows the same. Nose and jaw different
He looks tanned in DA2 but he spent many years...ok...enough time...in the tower so its justified to be pale in DAO.
but at least he IS recognisable....unlike some other chars...and more handsome....

I actually loved his nose in DAII and I miss it. That nose had character. And it was like Bryce Cousland's nose which fed my mind with ideas for crazy speculations 
But yeah, in whole he looks better in DAII. This is a pleasant surprise considering what's happened to Alistair, Zevran and Teagan (new Teagan's face I see sometimes in my worst nightmares).

I think I often saw Cullen in a bluish light, so his hair looked blonder. But you're absolutely right - in the sun, it's about the same color as in DAO.

Alistair

Anora is obviously feeding him too much cheese.


Zevran (MUCH cuter in DAO, imho, though lots of people decided to mod his face and make him look younger. I'm not a big fan of the elf morph in DA2. Area 51 aliens come to mind.)

I know this is sacrilege, but I LOVE his looks in DA2. I wasn't attracted to his pixels in Awakenings, though I liked his character. I like his DA2 voice better, too. Cullen can keep the old Anders voice.
