I finished my first mage siding run last night - that step back looked more like "we're finished here - off you go" rather than fear. The expression before that seemed like considering the options and deciding which was right. IMHO anyway.

I think he's a really cool guy! I'd like to see him as a companion in DA3. As for DLC, I think it would be a good idea to expand on why he stands up for Hawke. They don't necessarily need to have us saving his family or anything, maybe just get to talk to him for a while? Bioware could easily let us talk to him more on the side, in whatever they have planned for DLC.

I am pretty sure we're going to see more of him. After all, we got DLC for Leliana and Morrigan in Origins, due to fan demand! And one thing to keep in mind, is that after the final battle, Cullen is the highest ranking Templar in Kirkwall. If he's not going to be a companion, he's at least going to be a major character in DA3!

I think he does make an indirect ref to a female!mage warden(or maybe even what-could-of-been-warden) with one line he has... something similar to "Seeing the demon behind the sweet face"
I know he says Meredith sees demons behind sweet faces, but I swear there's a different line with him referring to himself...

That was just adorkably precious.  How old is Cullen now, anyway?  Too old to get all flustered by brothels, which is why it's so endearing.

I hope we will get some DLC or an expansion with Cullen as a LI. My mage Hawke will probably kill Anders for blowing up the Chantry and betraying her. I'm in Act 3, but I haven't finished the game. Is it true that Cullen stands up for Hawke in the end? Hawke will be free to pursue something with Cullen.

This... epic reunion may still happen. I want to make an addition to my fancomic, with bad jokes and awkward situations. Everything I had to cut from Obsession because it was too inappropriate and I couldn't... *blushes and runs away*

Yes, sweet, pure Cullen is much better. The face that one transitions into is more appropriate, you can almost hear him thinking how inappropriate this is.

I do wonder why he doesn't mention Surana.  He was possibly in love/had a crush on/stalked mercilessly the Fem!elf mage, too.

I mean, granted, the minute she left the tower, he never had a chance with Moira (Alistair and Zevran totally turned her head), but if your Hawke's a mage, I see no reason why a Surana wouldn't be brought up either.

Well he only mentions Amell because he knows Hawke is an Amell, it would be a little odd to bring up someone Hawke has no reason of knowing or having heard of.
