That Cullen is 24 in Origins seems fitting.

I actually read somewhere that the first "draft" of Alistair was his late twenties/early thirties and that he was suppose to be much more hard, down to earth, and serious. But they ended up making his character quite the opposite, which is why they also decided to make him younger.
I think.
I imagined Cullen behing in his mid twenties as well.

On the whole age issue, mid-twenties seems to be the most likely age for Cullen, but how long do you guys think he had been at the tower when Origins started?
He didn't seem like he'd spent that long there, but one of the templars in DA2 says he'd been stationed at the Gallows when he was 15.

That's where my problem starts. If he was brand-new... he wouldn't have had time to recognize Anders. But... how long would it take for him to notice Amell/Surana out of dozens of novice mages and obsess over her. I mean... Moira's pretty damned unforgettable, but really?

He could have served in the Chantry somewhere.Kriselia wrote...
And if he's new, where did he spend the 10 years between the end of basic training and being stationed at the tower? Tower-duty seems like a pretty regular position for newer templars.

I don't buy it. Anders was supposed to be on one of his Non-Templar-Endorsed-Excursions during The Incident, IIRC. If he was in solitary, Uldred would have had to kill him or recruit him. The real problem is, we don't have a definitive timeline for the Blight. Do we?

Nobody knows when he was in solitary or when he escaped or where he was during Uldred's revolt.
Not necessarily. He could have been forgoten down there (or up there) and be remembered after the events....in this case he was lucky...and Uldread had enough on his head to think about to pay attention to a forgoten panished mage.....Sialater wrote...

i dont think the Templars would post a "Wanted" poster for Anders..bad for the reputationSialater wrote...

Right. And that's the problem. And that's why we can't figure out if Cullen would know him.
I think he'd at least have seen one of Anders' "Wanted" posters.

how many times has Anders escaped? and brought back? and not having been a tranquil (wrong spelling propably )
makes me think the Ferelden Circle was indeed better...softer with mages.....so why all this enormus hate for templas that cost Justice to turn to Vengeance?
Granted, mages were not allowed to have their own lives and do things a normal human being would do but is that enough for that kind of change?
And now in English plz lol...sorry just got back from work and brain is in sleep modeSialater wrote...

Then why does he never mention it to the Warden whom he recognizes from the same tower?

Bioware, please give us Cullen as a fully romanceable companion in a DLC or Expansion..I've always been interested in him as a character since I played the Mage origin in DAO. Then after seeing him again I liked that you expanded his story. Now I want him. That is all.

If the developers would promise me, cross-their-heart-and-hope-to-die, that I'd have Varric and Cullen as romanceable options in DA3, I'd pre-pay tomorrow!
