I my case it was especially hilarious, because my Hawke was a mage and she supported mages all along XD Until I decided to record these videos with Cullen So I imagine Meredith thinking: "My Knight-Captain listens to a MAGE and ignores ME!!! Arrrrrrg!"

(also a bit of offtop, but I was surprised when Fenris told me that Tevinter templars throw the annulment parties sometimes as well. I thought nobody took those guys seriously)

HA, so that's who he was. I saw Dexter on his IMDB but the name of the character didn't ring any bells and I was too lazy to look into it. Good times, good times.

As for it not ending well...well, that tends to happen in Dexter, haha. Though, (ALERT) SPOILERS FOR DEXTER, wasn't he one who didn't particularly deserve it? Or am I thinking of something else? /END SPOILER

Just found this thread as a newly converted Cullen fan-girl. Loved, loved, loved him in DA2, which ironically had already led me to Bekkael's "Twisted" fic  (which btw I enjoyed immensely; more!). I really felt that my Hawke had a connection with Cullen, and so I couldn't help myself from looking for heart dialogue options with him for a little flirting. Alas. Would love to see more interaction with him in future DLC, expansions or DA3.

Incidentally, I also got sucked into a good series of fic about Cullen & Amell post-DA:O, the "What We Are/Were/Become/Choose" series -- which of course makes it harder to imagine him with Hawke instead ... but I'll take it all!

I agree. He is fated for their blood. After the trauma he suffered in the Ferelden Circle and with his Amell crush, Hawke has to kiss the boo-boo better in Kirkwall.

I think there are some awesome Amell/Cullen fics at FFN. I'm staying away from reading any right now, because I don't want it to cloud my Marian/Cullen pairing, but I will definitely devour them in future. Heck, I think there's enough Cullen to go around. Amell and Hawke can share. Cullen harem!

Indeed, the Alistair interactions were a bit heart breaking. I think that was one of the things I appreciated most, was how well it treated the scenario of losing him but moving on.  But, then, Cullen's not a bad consolation prize!

Understandable! I find it hard sometimes to keep my various "canons" straight.  Loved seeing his cute interactions with a green version of Hawke, tho. *sigh* He's such a gentleman. Too bad he probably wouldn't be down for the harem idea... :innocent:  Looking forward to chap 2!

Yes. His character was a sleazeball but he wasn't a murderer - the models were being killed by his assistant. So basically Dexter screwed up and had a big crisis of (what amounts to his) conscience.

Still, we got to see Mr Ellis naked and wrapped in plastic. More or less.

Why hasn't Greg Ellis done more voice acting? He's seriously amazing. Especially his angry/no nonsense voice.

I know, it was a poor attempt at humor. I personally really liked Greg Ellis' Anders but given that a bunch of DA2 scenes would be really weird with him talking to himself (if Anders is in the party), I get why they changed VA's.

And that in my opinion is just one of the stupidest reasons. They didn't sound alike, and he is a good enough actor, voice and physical, to pull it off.

@erynnar, Greg Ellis was busy and BioWare could only invite him for a small role. That's all.

(Hey, I will see him in Pirates soon, btw. The irony is that the movie will be dubbed, so I won't hear him and will have to wait for the dvd with English sound)
