Aww, thanks for the sweet welcomes. I'm writing a fanfic about Cullen at the moment, although it is set in DA:O. It's a Cullen x FemAmell story. :3

Heya Fen.  Glad to see your good taste in male characters continues.

Damn, Sia, you and I must be taste twins!! Good to see you here as well! ;)

On a more squee-y note... I met Cullen for the first time in DA2 today... I had to reload the scene three times because I could not hear a word of what his sexy mouth was saying -- I was squeeing too much! 8]

I think it's great to see a young templar who's capable of making decisions. After reading Codex in DAO and romancing Alistair 5 times I thought the Chantry raises young templars to be obedient and well-armored zombies who have no idea where to go, and need a commander to show them the way. And then Cullen: "I'll investigate this, check that. I'll take care of that headache, I'm so busy-busy-busy and awesome".

Cullen uses his mind, even if he is a bit hard on mages, depending on how you play. He is, easily, the most wonderful templar ever. Even Alistair would fall back on dogma, and he didn't even take vows.

Knight-Commander Cullen would be fair and compassionate. In my head, anyway.

@Bekkael, you know why I cried after the Broken Circle? I read on the wikia that he goes crazy or becomes a strict commander and I thought: "Now Cullen will never become wise and reasonable Knight-Commander he could have been!" I'm so happy now that he recovered! BTW, I finally finished my Amell's playthrough and imported her save into DAII. I can't wait to meet him :) And hear him saying my mage girl was special :)

Yeah, that whole scene *is* pretty awesome!  I just reloaded it multiple times myself!  He's so....so....eh, words escape me, CULLEN!

I love this description of him. Indeed, he's just so mature and "takin' care of business" now. Am I showing my age that I think that's sexy? LOL But, I also love that he still has some of his old mannerisms. Like, I'd forgotten how much stuttering  he did in DA:O when he was flustered, and I like that he sort of reverts to that when he talks about the lovely ladies at the Rose. So cute!

Ah, you folks are making me think I need to finally finish my DA:O Amell playthrough...never went beyond Ostagar for most origins since my choices didn't seem to change very much from PT to PT.

@R2s Muse, you must do this! Amells, both male and female, are my favourites now.
I loved WItch Hunt when I was playing it with the Amell! Girls gossip about Cullen, Finn says that Jowan's name is used now instead of "epic fail", and yells at you that you forgot your first year lessons :D

Oh, and speaking of Cullen being all business now. I remember when DAO came out, people were complaining that the game lacks the realy manly character, and David Gaider joked that next time they will make a super manly and awesome guy, who will slap you across the face and take the control over the party :) Is this bad that I want it to be Cullen in DA3? I wouldn't mind following his orders :3

SIGN ME UP...for science of course. It has everything to do with being manhandled by the hunky templar nothing to do with Cullen...it could be any manly character. THOUGH, if DA3 awesome Cullen is like the Cullen in HUNTER (by the fabulous bekkael) then...yeah. I'm going to be missing for weeks. I'll come back with screenies. Screenies or it didn't happen, right?

In honor of this page's "Cullen is awesome" theme, it seems appropriate to post this pic again. :P Every time I see him spattered in blood now, I think of this one!

The way I see it, if he slaps someone and takes charge I get to run behind him and check out his manskirt... get to take a break for a bit. Everyone deserves a break from leading every once in a while. heh.Posted Image

Oh yes, Cullen is extremely hard on mages...

Look at him go, he's really into it! Serenity...you little minx, you!

Just goes to show folks, Templar armor, though functional and known for it's fine tailoring, does little to fend off pretty girls...who happen to be mages. Posted Image

S, this pic is...guh....just.... *shivers* (Armor has buckles for a reason. I think my Hawke is going to work on an insta-dearmoring spell for Cullen. *snicker*)

His manskirt? Bwahaha! My theory on those skirts is the templars wear them for the same reason as mages: QUICK TRYSTS IN THE CORNER!   (that's my story and I'm sticking it to it)
