A Lore question:

Did anyone try to import the savegame with the Annulment was invoked on Fereldan Circle? What Cullen says then? He still says it was justified? I think his lines sound very clever: they will work if the Circle of Ferelden was destroyed and they will work if it wasn't. lol, Cullen reminds me of Avina in ME, gives you facts, but never clearly says what he thinks about it all.

I imported a save file where the Circle was annulled in Ferelden, but seemingly it failed, because througout the entire game people were talking about the wrong things happening. :/ Cullen, for one, never mentioned that the circle in Ferelden had indeed been annulled, and throughout the game, even though he's a hardass at times, he usually softened up in his mage-raeg every five minutes.


Oh, and I had wooed Zevran in Origins, but in the second game he was still willing to sleep with my Hawke.

It's strange, I thought Chantry pays well to their knights. But I also thought that templars must spend their money on their equipment. Like swords, runes, potions, maybe to repair their armor and pay for the healing after a fight with a random abomination.

You know, those pics reminded me of something I've been wondering about. It seems some bosses, in addition to healing and rallying, do some kind of sparkly star-like grenade throwing during the fights. Cullen also does it during the Wilmod fight. Can someone tell me what it is? The screenshots below aren't great, but sorta capture it.




The animation is sorta funny, cuz he actually bothers to throw down his sword into the ground while he's doing it.

I think all templar captains do that, but I couldn't figure out what does this grenade do. It explodes with funny pfffew and some smoke. Maybe it should stun targets or confuse them or burn their mana.

upd. I've just finished my pro-templar game. I think Meredith tried to grab Cullen by the throat, like Darth Vader. She said something like: "Why do you want to protect mages? They are an infection upon the humankind" (the quote is not accurate, because I didn't hear it very well). Hm, no this she said to Fenris. On nightmare Cullen died because I couldn't heal him 

Also, Cullen made the cutest face ever before he bowed. 

Aww, Cullen, my Hawke is single now, btw, her boyfriend died, so...

I'm intending to do a playthrough for canon purposes with respect to my fic and actually side with the templars for once and see that face. *shrugs* Oh well, it's going to be hard to say no to Fen in the third Act; nevertheless, it must be done...

upd: did you notice these dark violet circles round his eyes? I wonder if it's lyrium or he needs to rest more or it's normal?

@Gala, wow, I had never seen her maul Cullen. Looking forward to the final confrontation in current pro-templar PT. Just starting Act3!

And, you know, his eyes are just haunted in most pics. In looking for various subimages of him for a banner, I realized that focusing in on his eyes makes him just look so...sad. Also, that lighting makes them particularly racoony. I'd figured it was just a reflection of his past, kind of a nice acknowledgement that he's been through some gnarly stuff. And that he's just a bit more, ahem, experienced than many of the other characters.

@Gnas, welcome. Indeed that's a  hard choice...those pesky templar boys!

And of course he's taking care of us. It's his duty to protect us from everything Including dark circles round our eyes. They may look awesome on men, but they look awful on women.

You've been collecting screenshots of the Meredith fight? I've been looking for a definitive source for all her Last Staw battle quotes. I usually kill her too quickly to hear them all.

So I'm heading into the end of Act 3,and I keep getting sad when Cullen runs out of things to say to me. If I hear him say  "I hope the Order can count on your support, Champion" one more time, I'm going to scream. *sigh* "I just wanted to see how an old friend was doing..."
