In thinking about what I'd want him to say, my brain keeps going back to the old DA:O companion model. I keep hearing "Yes my love" and "Well, we're in camp..." "Fooled you did I...?" *big sigh* I sorta wish they'd go back to those slightly deeper conversations you could have either in camp or wherever.

But, hey, I'll take tickling wherever. Of course, I doubt Cullen would [any old place, that is]. I could see something like, "My dear, not in front of our friends!"  "I wish we had more time alone."  "You're right! We do need another bath.":whistle:

Yep, I'm pretty sure Cullen is not the publicly demostrative type....but my naughty Hawke totally is. She would kiss him in public just to see if she could make him blush. Heh.

Yell at him across the Gallows courtyard, "I hate to see you go, but I love to watch you leave!"

It was lovely. <3:wub: You really know how to rock the angst, my friend.

I've had a rough couple of days, weeks even - angst just suits me... and Cullen, for now. Any road, I'm quite content that you enjoyed it - the bloody thing been sitting on my harddrive since I accepted the fill and I wrote most of it over the past few days in between errands for work and late in the night, so I'm just glad it's done.

*still feels dumb for that misspelling of Orsino in that last bit, though*

LMAOOOO, that would be the funniest thing ever. Especially in front of the other templars. Although I think Cullen would make Hawke pay for it later. Not that it would be a payback she would mind...:innocent:

IE, hugs to you. It stinks you've had a lousy couple of days. Here's hoping your tomorrow is better than your yesterday. And now I sound like a cheesy greeting card - sorry!

@Sialater - hehe. I can see Cullen doing a lot of sighing in those situations.

Hey, no worries. It was great. Very atmospheric... poor couple. I liked the use of the red favor. Heh!

Hope things look up for you!

Thank you, my dears. It's uplifting to read your well-wishes. I hope to give you all more Cullen soon in MTA soon once I find a bit of peace, but school starts next week, so I can't guarantee much... Whatever the case, I had a weird thought yesterday: Cullen, I think, could really use a massage... let your imagination run away with that as you will. I'll keep it on the back-burner for later in case I need another one-shot to give me a break.

Wow, guess what I just did for science? I told Cullen to kill everybody during Best served cold. That brought out an extremely paranoid Cullen. It's just unfair what Hawke can do to knight-captain's head :(

@Gala aww - I can never do that. I wonder if anything will be different later on?

I don't know, I reloaded. I play for fun, not for science. I have too little time to explore all options. And I like when Cullen is sweet =] In my canon universe he recovered and got closer to "protect mages" rather than "kill all mages, because they may be demons".

(I keep cursing because this stupid game doesn't recognize my choices in Origins. And looks like devs are not going to fix that. Thankfully I still have youtube and my imagination to imagine how things really should be. I wish I knew how to fix the plot flags to make DA2 recognize them.)

BTW, about the torturing devices. The location where we find them is called "Gallows prison". I think it's some sort of a museum. Maybe Chantry kept these things to remind people how awful things were before Andraste freed slaves. Who knows? But this place doesn't look like it's been used recently. Remember Howe's dungeon - that was a good example.

Have you tried the saved game editor? :

Linky to Nexus

Its not the same as playing your own import but you can set the flags to be the same.

Not sure if that will help - I haven't had any issues with my save being wrong (or more likely just haven't noticed it ;-) )

Eh, I just spent about 30minutes making my Hawke beautiful and her family are awful!  lol - I'm so shallow.

@Avilia, thanks, but I heard it was so terribly glitchy. And one of my friends told me that the Origins saves contain the info about your Warden's appearance. I don't want Cullen to be in love with a faceless chick. ))))
Maybe one day BioWare will fix their bugs or fans will and then I'll replay. Now I just go back to drawing. Drawing is more fun :)

Oh, and I finished my 2nd DA2 playthrough! I was pro-mage again and in the end it looked like Cullen nodded to Hawke when he stepped back.

I think either way they do this thing where they give each other long looks. Which he probably does with a male Hawke, but it's better with a female Hawke.

I'm shallow too. I played someone else's savegame even though I didn't like the import because Bethany was stunning.

So how much time would Cullen give a pro-mage Hawke to leave the city? Would he pull any strings so that Aveline could remain captain? Would he remain a loyalist templar?

I think he would order his men to search the Gallows first for more abominations and/or crazy statues. And then they would probably try to clear the streets from demons Champion didn't kill. That would give Hawke enough time to gather things and leave.

About Aveline - Cullen supported her before when she was accused of coddling her men. He said he didn't want that headache then, I doubt he would want it now, when he's technically an acting knight-commander. I think she stayed. I hope she stayed. At least for some time.

Also, call me shallow, but I installed The Mod for Origins, and it was so cute! Cullen was so goofy and adorable, and the kiss was very cute. (1,5 years after release Gala realized that there are mods which make DAO even more awesome! I think I'll be living in Thedas next few days).
I think  AU!Rhia looks like she's about to eat poor Cullen:

Enjoy the mods, Gala. I have to rely on youtube to see all that neat stuff. It's okay, I still love my xbox. :D

I see that new banner, Avilia! Cullen fan approval +100.

I'm sad we don't get more screen time with Cullen. We have to recycle the same screenies here, over and over... If anyone finds more fan art of DA2 Cullen, please post the link here!

Gala, I wish we could bribe you to draw a Hawke/Cullen pic. It doesn't have to be romantic or anything. *puppy eyes*

I envy people with artistic talent. I would love to be able to paint or draw. I'm a sloppy left-handed person who is very grateful for a keyboard to type on. I think hand-written things are becoming a relic of the past. Kinda sad, but typing is so much more efficient.

I think he'd be more focused on trying to sort the mess left after Act 3.  Aveline would want to stay I think, gather what's left of her guards and try to keep order.  I see them working together to do that.  He's not interested in taking over the Guard, as Gala said, and I doubt either of them would have time to worry about politics.  At least  in the short term.

I don't think he'd need to pull strings to keep her in the Guard - the city is in a mess with no leader, its possible that he'd have the power to just make that decision.

I think he'd remain loyalist - but that depends on which group of Templars is loyalist.    From what I recall of the epilogue the Templars have also split - some gone mage hunting some not.  Cullen is a believer in the Chantry and it seems that the Divine (if we can take Cassandra and her Seekers to represent the views of the Divine) is more concerned with calming things down.

Just my opinion of course - hopefully my morning brain hasn't mixed my facts up too much.

I've heard rumours that the next DLC is set after Act 3 - if that's true we may find out the answer to your questions at some stage :)

So. I was chatting with Sialater, and lamenting the fact that we don't have all the cool fanfiction and art links, as well as fan banners in the original post of this Cullen thread like many other fan threads do.

Since the original poster of this thread is no longer around, would anyone like to start a new Cullen fan thread so we can continue to edit the first post and add our art and stories? I know we have them linked in the Cullen fan club, but let's face it, not as many people are likely to see them there....

Thoughts?

The only con I can think of is that we'll lose our length. However, I'd rather do it now, before we get much longer and have THAT MUCH MORE to make up.

Do you think we could ask a mod to edit the original post for us? Or would that be bad etiquette?

They won't do that. I believe we tried with one of the iterations of the Garrus thread.

I don't think they do that. Also, we couldn't continue to add and change stuff as time goes on.

Like Sia says, the only con I can see is losing our thread length, but we can always build it up again. We are a fairly chatty bunch. ;)

Ah cool :)

I posted on the first page but not towards the top so that probably wouldn't be as good as a new first post.

I see your post, but it's pretty far down the page. I notice that most new people who post here pretty much answer to agree/disagree with Cullen as a LI, which is a response to the first post. I think he has more fans than just those of us who are interested in seeing him be a LI.

I guess it would just be nice to have the opening post reflect that all types of Cullen fans are welcome, ya know?
