Near the beginning of Chapter two in the doc area, I walked past a beggar and it looked like an animation of Hawke handing the beggar a few coins.  Well my Hawke's arm was frozen in that position (looked almost like it was in a cast to the elbow).  Everthing below the elbow functioned as expected in cut scenes (had a real Igor feel to it) but there as no combat animation,  

The broken wing fixed itself after I restarted the game.

I got this at a different point (don't remember exactly when in the game, but Hightown location) - it's a slight glitch where the character's stance is the same as combat, but status is listed as 'not in combat'. Reloading seems to correct the status flags.
