when you refuse to give Merril the Aluvian you get massive rivelry with her but in act 3 she admits you where right, then why don't you get the friendship you lost back from her?
The idea behind rivelry is that they respect you but don't agree with your actions but she just agreed I was right so shouldn't I get my frienship back with her.. Is this a bug?

Friendship is about agreeing with their views, and rivalry is about challenging their views. You challenged and convinced her.

When you get to 100% rivalry or friendship it stays there for good and you don't have to worry about losing or gaining points anymore. Being someone's rival isn't a bad thing. She still likes you and respects you. You did her a favor by not supporting her incredibly foolish decisions.
