I tried asking this in the general forum but got no answer.  Does nightmare mode send more mobs at you via reinforcements and therefore give the player more xp?

I don't think it does, but I'm not sure.  I think it just boosts enemy resistance, health, and attack.  I ahv en't tested to confirm, but I think you can reach around the same xp reguardless of difficulty.
