They've flagged several bugs for fixing already. There's a patch coming, it just needs to go through certain processes for some platforms (e.g. needs Sony and Microsoft approval for PS3 and 360 builds).

Is there a list of known bugs? Rather, is an Bioware-sanctioned list of bugs, something to the effect of, "Here are some problems that we, the Dragon Age team, are aware of, and are currently looking into"?

Because I would love to see the Love-Interest Cameos get added to Bioware's attention. I mean, it doesn't have to be their top priority, but any kind of reassurance that Bioware is aware of the DA:O Love Interest bugs would put me a little more at ease...

As far as I know, there is no such thing. However, given how much attention players have been giving this issue, I find it hard to believe the devs have missed it.

They definitely know about the import bug.  I'm just hoping they also know about the bugs with Zevran and Alistair that crop up when their romances are imported properly.  I imagine they do.  Because it would be awful if they did fix the import bugs and then you had Gray Warden Alistair and Zevran acting as though the warden were dead, even if the warden is alive.

I'm not sure, actually.  One of Zevran's lines in act 3 which is not triggering is

So I don't know that the warden could have disappeared in act 2 though he doesn't say how long they've been parted I suppose.

If I had gotten that in my game correctly I would honesty have been at least 10% happier with DA2. (Zevran fangirl to the extreme here)

Yeh, in order to get that codex, you need to have the import flag mod.

It also makes me wonder, though, if there's also supposed to be a different codex for a Friend!Warden.  The codex you get in the vanilla game right now makes no mention of Zevran helping defeat the blight, though his helping defeat the blight actually seems to be a pertinant piece of information for a lover.

I hope they fix soon these bugs, with king Alistair romance I didn't get any trouble but with Zevran I have it....I didn't try the Alistair Grey Warden, but it's a bit annoying this romances bugs

I also wish the patch will be for all the platforms

Warden disappears in Act 3 or later, I'm pretty sure, as Zevran isn't the only one with lines that indicate the Warden is still kicking around somewhere. If Alistair is king, romanced or not, Teagan tells him that the Warden should be back in Denerim by now, and Alistair is all "cool."

(Assuming they're alive, of course.)


EDIT: Also omg I want that Zevran done been romanced codex so bad.

I really wish they would fix this; I feel like the Wardens who romanced Zev to completion are getting the short end, yet again. In Awakenings, we did not even get a letter!!

Well. The last patch actually fixed the awakening letter bug, you do get the codex entry with a note from Zev (or Leliana).

Regardless though, here's another voice to the hopeful request to get DAII import choices fixed!

Did Zevran ever say his last name in Origins? When he said it in his cameo, I was sure he'd pronounced it differently. But that could just be me reading it in text originally in Origins and pronouncing it differently in my head, then being confused when it was actually said aloud.

I don't believe it was ever spoken in Origins, but the pronunciation in the toolset notes is "ZEV-ran' AIR-ah-nye", so as spoken in DA2 seems to match with that.

(Going by roman vowels, it certainly doesn't LOOK like it should sound that way, but "air-ah-nye" does sound smoother than "ah-rah-ee-nah-ee" ;D)

I just went through the dialogue files myself. Alistair was supposed to call the Warden the love of his life? Zevran wasn't supposed to agree to sleep with Hawke if romanced?

Son, I am disappoint. Please, let this be fixed in the next patch...

King Alistair has additional lines for a mistress (and whether he's married to Anora or not).  The ball-and-chain comment isn't romance related -- my political marriage Warden import got that line as well (that's probably why it's triggering properly -- the married flag is fine).

I've made a very clear "Before Zevran" savegame at end of Act 3 and I look forward replaying the final stretch of the game with the chance to hear the correct dialogue for my romanced Warden

That's why I envy people with the pc game, they have more patchs or mods than people like me...and  I really hope for this fixs, if the codex it's wrong, then in DAO3 will be like I never had that romances in Origins?

The very first time you meet Zevran, where he says "Zev to my friends" he DOES say his last name. I thought the same thing (that he didn't say his last name), but feeling nostalgic I replayed DA:O yesterday and today, and I noticed he DID say his last name, but only the once. Also, his first and last name appear in the CODEX under Companions.

I want to add my support here. Dear BioWare, please fix the Love Interests cameos. A lot of players enjoy the romances in your games. Personally, I'm having more fun with them than with killing darkspawn (or any other spawn for that matter). A lot of thought and effort go into these romances, and I believe that they are crucial for a 'complete' experience of your games. To see that they are not properly carried on is disappointing. Please fix the dialogues and the codex entries. Though the latter is just a minor complain, I have to admit that I was puzzled when I learned about King Alistair's marriage with my mage warden. I'm sure you've got a lot on your plate, but please look into this because the romances really matter to a lot of people. If they are not addressed accurately, the gaming experience of DA 2 is weakend IMHO.

Now after reading this thread, I honestly can't remember if my Alistair lines triggered right. I imported Alistair as solo king with elven mage mistress (both alive). At first, I thought it didn't, but now I think he did say my Warden was the love of his life...? I don't remember. But he was excited that she'd be back in Denerim.

King Alistair doesn't call his mistress the love of his life -- he's just looking forward to seeing her.  It's Gray Warden Alistair who is supposed to say that.

Huh. I was sure the line was just "I am Zevran. Zev, to my friends."

You're right; he does not say his last name in Origins, just his first.  It is phonetically spelled in the toolset though.
