As far as I know Humanity is the youngest and most recent arrival to the intergalactic community, Wouldn't it be nice if another species came along and took the position of newcomer and Humanity would no longer be the rookie of space.

There were some CDN entries awhile about some alien race that was locked away in a virtual world on a "ghost ship". They had just acquired an ambassador and were joining the galactic community but there was controversy over how to interact with them.

Found a link to it, you can read the entries starting with this one here

Yep. And there was another species that received an embassy on the Citadel as stated in a CDN update. But we probably won't see many new species other than possible agents of the Reapers and background species on planets and other locations.

Most likely (assuming you made the relevant choices) you will see the Krogan, Quarians, and Rachni take a greater role in galactic affairs...if the galaxy survives.

Nah, according to CDN [afaik], there's the raloi. In 2185 The Council formally welcomed them to the galactic community.

I want to see raloi. Posted Image

Interesting, thanks for the link. I wonder how you do integrate a virtual race into society.

Well, they needed living beings to transfer their consciouness to, so unless there are a lot of volunteers (or a lot of mechs capable of storing the entirety of a sapient's brain, they are probably stuck in the computer world.

They were engineered by the Reapers to maintain the Citadel. Similar to the way Collecters were made to be footsoldiers.

I hope we learn more about them as a species, and about some of the other species the Reapers have destroyed and/or made Reapers.

The Keepers were one of my favorite unresolved mysteries. I also would like to see more on them.

There is no statue of The Shadow Broker there.

You are confusing the statue of Dragon Age Origin's Ogre with The Shadow Broker which is a yahg.

Raloi in Mass Effect 3 please. They are an avian race who have just been discovered and are about to join the Citadel community. It would totally suck if Bioware forgot about them.

Yeah, it'd throw a damper on the whole universe if this brand new race never happens to show up.

Unfortunately they have to wear environmental suits, as they are susceptible to the H7N7 avian virus. Well that sucks.

If we get more homeworlds in ME3, which I really think we will, than I expect to leanr much more about the races we already know. I would also bank a good fortune on getting at least one new race in ME3.

Raloi and the virtual ship race would be cool. I wonder if that woman in the Arrival pics is a vessel/body for such an uploaded consiousness.

Hopefully they have transparent helmets.
