Why? Here's a list of crimes Shepard has committed:

1) Mineral scanning

When scanning for minerals on certain planets, some of them are already being mined. Others may even have the rights to mine there, while Shepard more than likely does not. THAT IS STEALING.

EXAMPLE: In the Valhallan Threshold (where the Migrant Fleet is) there is a planet that is already being mined by the quarians. Shepard can just stop by and take all the highest amounts of resources. How come the quarians didn't stop this heinous act?

2) Those two asari on the Citadel. They were having trouble going home. Shepard can slip them something (a pass or something) that they can use to get home, despite that being against regulations.

3) Extortion. Shepard can basically threaten shopkeepers into giving him/her a discount. THAT IS A CRIME.

4) Garrus' LM. Those two krogan bodygaurds Shepard can kill, even though they didn't do anything. That is MURDER.

5) Shepard can allow those workers to die in Zaeed's LM when he has the ability to help them. That's INDIRECT MURDER.

And many more.

Shepard is a criminal?

Exactly! Shepard needs to be arrested! Exactly how is Shepard a good example of humanity when he/she does things likes this?

She's a spectre. She could have everyone at Chora's Den legally executed and nobody could say a thing.

In ME3, if you commit enough crap like this, you should be able to get a bounty on your head.

In ME1, maybe. In ME2, not so much.

You can reclaim your spectre status in ME2, not really that far-fetched. Just go talk to Anderson! lol

That is subjective, because you don't have to, and your spectre status really doesn't mean anything.

Yeah it does, it means they are above the law.

Thats why it was such a big deal becoming one and one going bad in ME1.

Also on the mineral scanning, i'm sure theres a codex entry which says its legal since your getting a percent of the find for "marking it"

Mineral scanning in ME1? That's different. I'm talking about ME2.

And punching that reporter is violent! Why would Bioware even allow that? Punching a defenseless woman? Come on!

In ME1 - Shepard is a Spectre - so cant touch him/her.

In ME2 - He/She is either a Spectre still, commit most of his 'crime' in the Terminus system (that is not in council speace) and the hero who saved the citadel, arresting him for extortion and assault will be extremely BAD PR.

In ME3 - With the Reapers tearing up London and invading the Milky-way [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/tongue.png[/smilie] Shepard can get away with assaulting citadel council members just because they look at him/her the wrong way.

I see. This list would be just as serious, if I wasn't on three strong cups of expresso.

You do realise that Shepard killing someone isn't necessarily murder, right? There's justifiable homicide, manslaughter, etc... The same goes for the evil Raubmordkopierer.

I'm serious! Somebody as big and strong as Shepard (when discussing male Shepard), punching a woman with the arms the size of a twig! No matter how badass it was supposed to look, in my opinion it was rather cruel and dickish.

Working with Cerberus.
That's treason for the Council and Alliance.

Thane LM.
Cooperating with Cpt. Baley who is corrupt cop and you know it.
Restraining Elias Kelham. Taking hostage.
Punching Elias Kelham while restrained. Torture.
Killing Joram Tali. Murder.

That depends. Shepard can leave Zaeed to die or those workers. That is indirect murder. How is that justified?

Can't believe you didn't mention Shepard falcon-punching a pyjak on Tuchanka. Anyone know what the animal rights are on Tuchanka?
