First off, I honestly have no idea whether it can be done or not.
That said, I wish there was a hotkey for toggling the hide helmet option. Sometimes showing it seems appropriate while other times it doesn't and it's a bother having to break immersion to go through the menus every time.
Mostly I just wish to know whether it is possible, and if it's an easy thing to do I'd be thankful for instructions!

What I'd like is some functionality that turns helmets on in combat, and off out of combat.
