Alright I've literally combed, ransacked, and plowed through my DA2 folders and I can't find one that holds my photos from printing screen.

Any help would be hot. Please and thank you.

They should be ending up in the usual directory (similar to DAO) - on Windows 7 that is:
C:\\Users\\<username>\\Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age 2\\Screenshots
On windows XP that'll be the same except starting with C:\\Documents and Settings\\etc

I actually had to double-check this because so far I've been using EVGA precision to take screenshots - lazy me. XD

This is no such folder. I understand how to get to my documents and even the folders themselves but these are the only options I have when accessing Dragon Age 2.

addins
binship
data
docs
modules
packages

And believe me when I say I've searched ever inch and corner of these folders for something that remotely resembles a screen shot folder. Nada, zip, and zilch.

Which makes me wonder where the hell the programing is keeping my SCs when I take them if they are even registering at all.

Hmm I'd suspect your problem is that your screenshots aren't being saved then, since I've tested it to make sure and when I took my first screenshot ingame with the PrintScreen button (default keybind for screenshots) it actually spawned a folder called "Screenshots" in Documents/Bioware/DA2...

The first thing I'd try would be to change the screenshot keybind ingame under Options -> Controls to a different key (for example one of the F keys or any other random key) and then press that, alt tab out of the game and check your documents to see if it did anything.

If that doesn't work I'm not sure what to do about it, besides reporting it as a problem, trying out patch 1.01 and the next one once it's released, and in the meantime taking screenshots with an alternative tool, like for example Fraps (free version can take screenies in bmp) or if you're running a GPU monitoring tool (like MSI afterburner, EVGA precision, etc etc) they sometimes include a screenshot functionality.

The folders you listed sound like the ones in the program folder.

The one under my documents should at least contain a "characters" folder once you played the game. Still sounds like you are looking in the wrong folder.

You should not be looking into C:/Program Files ...

The easiest way to find the correct one is to click the desktop icon that has your username, then Documents, Bioware, Dragon Age 2. That's where to look.

Doh, I can't believe I missed that.

Yeah you shouldn't be looking in C:/Program Files - you need to look in your Documents folder. That\\s where your user-specific settings, including saves, settings and screenshots are kept.

I had this same issue with WinXp. I had to change the keybinding from Print Screen to Shift +Print Screen. Thanks for the change key binding tip!

That is the Dragon age 2 game folder.

You need to access the Bioware Folder under My Documents.  Inside is the Dragon Age 2 Folder.

binship is only in the Game Directory.
