please help! what am i supposed to do with tarohne's books? do i have to destroy them all right away when i collect them to complete the quest? Or do i just have to find them? i have been collectin' em and then selling at merchants...thanks4help

Destroy the first 5, then read the last one. Doing anything else will cause the quest to remain incomplete.

Destroying all six will also complete it. Reading the last gives stat points though.

If you keep the books, you can sell them - the quest will not complete, though.

When I first ran into the books the first one I ran into was the one in the recently opened passage in the dalish camp area and I read it and hadn't come across any other books yet and got stat points then destroyed it after reading.

thanks for help people...i have red the first book gaining the stat points. i have kept and sold the other ones which means i'm gonna have to complete it in another playthrough does this quest affects somewhat importantly the story?

Not that we know of yet, although you get to learn that Gaxkang from DA:O is actually one of three super demons, and get to kill one more of the super demons at the last book.

Gaxkang was a lot easier than Xebenkeck, though. Mostly because he was alone and she is not.
