Why Bioware did not include an option to turn it off is beyond me..

"Why BioWare exchange the awesome "finishing animations" from the first Dragon Age with these new exploding bodies is beyond me..."
But yes, these gore explosions made me laugh the first three times because it looked so silly, but now it's just annoying. This request really do have my support.

Anyway, an option to turn it off and on would be really appreciated.

No; all that option does is turn of the ketchup splatter on your party. People will explode in giblets just as well with that option turned off.JamesX wrote...
I think turning off "Persistant Gore" in settings makes the explosions occur less often.

Anyone tested this? Screens and / or a video would be nice.
Anyway, I think I'll wait for an updated version, something that just lowers the chance for body explosions to happen. A little variety is always good. ^^

Indeed, I would also like a mod that just lowers the gibbing chance(or makes them exclusive to some spells), instead of getting rid of em alltogether
Too bad the mod maker has disabled the comments, I had some feedback to post.

I'll always wonder why the victims gained cancer at the moment they exploded and lost all their hair... Or is it only in my case where that happends? It looks really weird... Anyhow, seem I don't have to worry about it anymore. No more explosions!
It's not cancer you noob...

Soooooo basically the explosions causes rapid aging then?
Though I never noticed the hair growing long before it fell off...

I'm using it at the moment and haven't seen those stupid explosions ever since. So, a huge thanks to the creator of this.

Do spells that should sometimes cause gibleting still do it, such as Walking Bomb?

Walking Bomb now looks a bit ridiculous and it seems that the mod removed even some of the normal death anims.
I mean, now it starts to remind me of Origins where everyone kept using the same "falling" backwards animation. :/

Very nice. The explosions don't bother me too much but I'll definitely try this out.

Still better than the explosions in my opinion. Now if we could get rid of the horrible combat animations as well...
As for an earlier question... yes, it removes it from spells as well.

I'm grateful for at least this first step towards fixing the kablooie blood bag issue, but I hope someone is able to tweak it a bit more! There are some situations where the kablooie belongs: Walking Bomb, perhaps those shattered due to being made Brittle, perhaps the Stagger->Lightning combo, etc. Just good grief, not when my Rogue sticks them once with her dagger. I like my enemies to actually have BODIES, and not just be walking bags of blood fit to explode whenever someone sneezes a bit hard.
This. +1000 And you made me LOL. Well said!
