[Bara Rockfall]

I'm closing in on the end of Act I and am almost ready to go on the Deep Roads Mission.  I have the money and maps but where is the dwarf?  I know the quest says to find him in the merchants guild, but there is no quest marker and I don't see him.  Do you have to do or talk to someone to have him appear?  Am I missing something?  Thanks for your help.
