Be sure to get that licensed as intellectual property of you.

Someone, somewhere might just "come up" with that.

It was a great refreshing story with great characters and location and has no negative affect on DAO or DA lore...I was happy not to get another boring origins story.

Nope. I'm not a stick in the mud, y'see. Also, the new companions were nice, pretty, cool, and interesting to be around. Also, my Hawke is too fine to be retconned. Besides, if you retcon DA 2, then I'll have no one to oggle except for that frigid witch, Morrigan. (Why do I like her?)

retconning DA 2 would be completey pointless apart from getting rid of brillent characters and narrative one of the main points of DA 2 was setting up the whole potential (apparently the Seekers believe it can be avoided) Mage-Templar war which would mean coming up with a completly new scenario or starting form scrach with the mage-templar rivalry as a side note:don't be hatin' especially not on Dragon age (doesn't mater which game, book, comic, anime whatever just DON'T HATE)

The "get 50 Suvereigns!" part? 
Or the "no matther what you do the Qunari attack for no reason" part?
Or the "We cant talk about the Subjekt and we will die all" part?

besides the story dont even make sence. A Farmerboy from a small village kills 10000 Darkspawn (without genloks), Dragons (arent they supposed to be rare?) Demons (They made the wrong ones stronger lore wise), Humans (wow they got alot free space in Kirkwall fpr Fereldeners after you killed more Humans as the City has population), and bloodmages on every Corner (How did the Mage circle managed it if every mage you meet turns into a Bloodmage?) 
So Why? Why can he do all that? Is there a reason behind it? If every Village boy can do that why they need an Army? Or Templers or Grey wardens? Even His little Brother Carver can kill 100 creeps with an cloth shirt on as a warrior.. I wonder if he laugh at every Soldier with an Armor on. "Lol you noobs you need an armor! You just need to one hit them so they are no harm to you! " 

The Peoples you got in a group.. Fenris hates every mage. Even if Anders heals him 1000 times and safed his ass 1000 times he still hates him. If you are a mage yourselve he can be the best buddy and even get a romance with him but if you spare a helpless, harmless, mage who did never anything wrong he freaks out.. yeah makes sence..

Anders is the same just the opposite.

And Isabella .. well maybe thats a, little boys wet dream. A Girl with big boobs and no pants want to jump in your bed after you say 3 words to her.. But thats the unrealistic Group member Bioware ever made... i dont even get startet about the "armor" she is going to join the fight... If i would be 12 years old.. i might like that kind of Charakters.. well no i think i would already think im to old for that crap at 12

This story was set in the same universe as the original - that doesn't mean it's any good.

I stand by my original assessment - DA2's plotline is such a disjointed tangent from DA:O, better to wipe it, and move on.

Come on guys you're going overboard with this.... What about button=awesome? How am I supposed to play anything from now on without the AWESOME BUTTON? Eyeblink button doesn't even come close because, wait for it, it's not Awesome! Unless the farmer girl has awesome eyes, in that case, like Ladlaw said, the game is evolving. But I can allready hear you haters "but we don't want to play a crappy game we want to play a good game". We'll you are just afraid of change. Bunch of blind haters!!!! The game changed from good to bad - you need to adapt to that, to be open minded. Can't you understand that change is good. So go back tou you 4chan (honestly WTH is 4chan?) and your good games, we will just play the EAware games you PC elitists (who in their right mind came up with this term?)

I disagree. I enjoyed the game. Yes it's bugged and glitched but this game was a sequel and I like it. Yes it's not a direct sequel to your warden from DA:O. But Awakenings filled that gap nicely for the warden as well as Witch Hunt and Golems of Amgarrak.

Frankly I'm tired of hearing you people whine. It's annoying.

Now you're just being pathetic. To be honest, how much sense does it make that your regular dalish kills 1000+ darkspawn? Or regular castless dwarf? You are the perfect example of what I talked about in my earlier post. Go and apply this reasoning to every game you play and good luck. And if you don't know why blood mages are common, it just proves how little you actuially listened to the story.

I liked the game and thought it worked fine as DA2. If it had been DAO2, I can see how people would be upset!

It's not like this is a franchise with a million games and books tied into it. And its Bioware's franchise. Not yours. Which makes me happy, because I don't want ARCHDEMON ROUND 2, FIGHT, and I doubt that was what anyone else wanted.

I liked it fine, disagree with the premise of this thread, and I am entitled to my opinion just as much as the people who are writing ridiculously long posts in order to try to convince everyone who disagrees to go "oh yea this game was awful" are entitled to theirs. And hey, I think I'm just as correct.

The game has its issues, but I see no reason to hate it as much as people here do.
