why is it when aveline in the party, my party members have a reduced hp? has this something to do with aveline rivalry?? btw my current party is hawke/rouge, isabela and anders
aveline as a tank.....

There's a fixed length to the health and energy bars and it will always set the party member's, with the highest health, health as the parameter for the maximum length.
This statement comes up as a bit confusing what it means is:
Hawke has 100hp and runs solo- his health would show as the maximum health.
Aveline joins the party and she has 200hp. Aveline's health will now be the new parameter which means that Hawke's health would appear 50% shorter.
I think you're confusing this with the actual amount of hp.

Luckily I never have this problem as my Blood Mage-Hawke has the most HP.
